I know, one of Hubs friends rang the other day and asked if i'd 'popped her out' yet. If only it was that simple!Married the lovely Mr P 28th April 2012. Little P born 29th Jan 20140

Jemb - I was like that but they're totally worth the wait, I was going out of my tree but she's nothing like an overdue baby so I'm convinced the edd was wrong and my conception date of around 17th April was correct, we can pin point the daywe did it too as they were infrequent back then.
Congrats TL can't believe he came out blue!!! Love the name.
Congrats Rummer, hoping for a speedy jaundice recovery for you and you get to go home for loads of snuggles soon.
Congrats nikit that's an amazing birth story well done xx
Lurking for bigz's news can't be much longer and really hoping you get the manageable birth you're hoping for. I'm healing really well, 2-3hr feeds now and my OH is a star. Ladies I highly recommend the EPO internally to save your lady parts. I swear it's made ahuge difference, and only push on the contractionsthinking of you all xx

I'm interested to see when ours will come, since I know the exact date of when we dtd (only once that month!), ovulation, and conception when we conceived. EDD is 5 days before that.
Also, congrats on your little one! :T0 -

Congrats to the new mummys :T
Thanks for sharing your stories too.Is anyone else getting really bored? I've got just over a week to go and I'm fed up of other people (not on here, in 'real life') over taking me!
I'm a bit the opposite, 38 weeks today and right now I'd quite like another two weeks before baby's arrival! Might change my mind as I get less comfortable I guess but right now all fine. Today I am getting two washes through, defrosting the freezer and a friend popped in for coffee. Tomorrow I'm walking round ikea with my mum! As long as I'm comfortable and got something practical to do each day baby can wait!fran-o0 -

Same as you Mrs TM. I know exactly when date of conception was so my workings out bring due date at least a week after they've given me. So I'm not counting on a timely baby although I wouldn't mind if she decided to show up a bit early.
I'm 31+4 today and wishing time away. Although I think it's more to do with wanting to finish work than anything else! :-)0 -

I feel honoured
TL I hope the jaundice goes quickly
Back from the midwife. Didn't bother with the sweep as a) I still don't think she'll be able to reachb) I'm not in any mad rush while I have this cold  c) she didn't seem that eager either lol. Baby is fully engaged now though, which I suspected from the pains and discomfort from last night, so I reckon body knows what it's doing for now...
I'm now booked in for induction on Monday afternoon if bubs doesn't appear beforehand, but the induction ward staff told midwife they were surprised I was being left to go so late and said if I want inducing earlier to just ring them directly. I don't want to be induced at all though tbhI had a little sulk that they've booked me in for the afternoon, not morning, as it was.:o I just know I'd get there at 1ish and they'd not do anything for hours, then nothing would happen for hours, then they'd want to send DH home for the night... So, no pressure MiniZee, but the clock's ticking!
(Oh and I asked midwife about going home after pessary for induction and she said no, it doesn't happen here and she's never known it to. That things can kick off quickly after one so you'd need to stay in etc. Must be very area and circumstances specific if/when it does happen...)
40+6
P.s. my EDD was only a day out from my dates, I think, and I'm still overdue. No matter how accurate you think you're being, babies and bodies have their own agendaAfter all, TL's baby should still be in her belly for a few weeks yet, technically... my advice is not to get too hung up on exact dates. It's less frustrating when you're 'over' then

*unlurks*
Going by ovulation I was due 12th October. 12 week scan placed it at 17th. Jessica was born 29th. Even then that was an induction - she was only 1/5 engaged and showing no sign of wanting out
Bigz - have they definitely said they would send DH home? When I was induced I was allowed one birth partner with me at all times then up to four additional people during visiting times. Incidentally my parents arrived for visiting just as I was transferring to delivery suite but hey ho!Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0 -
