Where dud you get them from? I've been trying to find something for a couple of weeks but failing miserably as I don't want to spend much on something to throw away after.

I got them from Primark jenni_fer. One is a simple black and white stripe and the other is a pink/purple shirt style with buttons. £9 for the both of them! :)

I too took far too much into hospital last time :o it didn't help that DH grabbed everything from the car and brought it in!
This time I'll be labelling every bag clearly.

I would suggest asking your midwives what your hospital provides to save you taking extra. Last time ours had bottles and formula (invaluable as I was whisked away), nappies and wipes which we could help ourselves to.
Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck :)

I'm a mummy! Isabella antoinette born 21:47 on saturday in a water birth at the birthing centre without any pain relief just the relaxed state of hypnobirthing. Born wide awake and alert, cried because the water was a bit cold by then but went straight for the breast. Photo when I get on the pc, feeding really well she's absolutely gorgeous but I'm biased

Congrats kerri... Middle name is fab (first name too but really adore middle name! !!!) Well done on natural birth too. .I sure couldn't manage it in end! ! :D

OH came home last night and declared that he'd been reading Wikipedia and is now fully prepared to deliver the baby at home if he has to! :rotfl: He even 'knows' what to do if baby is breech! Dude's a nutter! :p

What's the deal with the EPO? Something you take or, ahem, rub in?! :o Just started taking my RLT tablets, hope they do some magic to my innards! :)

    :rotfl::rotfl: at your DH!

I bought a cheap nightshirt from Primark the other day to start my bag. I could do with a couple of others though for breast feeding etc, so I might try Matalan this week. to be honest I'm struggling to fit into any of my pj bottoms at the moment so a transfer into nighties is probably imminent!

Bought some backless slippers too. Determined to have some kind of bag packed before I hit 34/35 weeks, just in case...

I normally buy size 10 pyjama bottoms - had to buy a 14 in Sainsburys at the weekend so that they're comfy, was a bit of a shock when they went on fine! My normal ones are way too uncomfortable to wear, and Ive been a 12-14 fleecy pair from Asda but kept waking up sweating in them.

Theyre really nice, they had a label on them saying 'lounge' but theyre quite thin so good for hot hospitals and theyve got like a big band which instead of wearing folded over like theyre probably designed to, its like a big bump band! Id recommend them, they come in blue and pink and are £9.

Just got back from our first NCT class. Really enjoyed it. Me and DH think we were probably the youngest couple there by maybe 2-5 years apart from one other girl who looked about my age by whose DH looked older. But everyone was pretty chatty by the end and we were all having a good laugh.

We covered stuff about when is the right time to go to the hospital, the early stages of labour and how to keep comfortable at home. It seems like most of the men are planning on camping out in the hospital car park in panic :rotfl: Next week were doing massages to help in labour and more labour related stuff. Think it should be quite useful!

Kynthia if you're reading I was in a similar situation to you at my nct group, we haven't gone into detail yet but she asked who had felt they'd had an easy pregnancy so far and every single woman said yes apart from me!

I was telling one lady in the break about my sickness & her face was a picture :rotfl: she's planning on working up to a week before her due date, I was like I'm counting down and I'm finishing 5 weeks before! Everything feels like it hurts now.

I really hope I get a good birth to make up for it!

Claire-I was talking in work yesterday and a few of my colleagues said if you had a bad pregnancy you will have a nice calm baby who is well behaved!!! :rotfl: I am taking their advice with a pinch of salt thou as I am sure it is not 'medically proven'!!:rotfl:

The ladies in work think I have had a rough pregnancy but in my opinion I think I have got off lightly, esp compared to some of you lovely ladies. All I have had is swelling and aches, been sick 4-5 times and that's it really.

Midwife today, I have forgotten to write my birth plan.....I'll try pop some ideas down on my lunch break today. Nice early dart from work then tomorrow off on leave and just Friday let to work this week and then only 2 weeks left before mat leave ...... Yay! :D

I felt like the one I had Monday was a waste of time (and a bus ticket). I did get to see the results of my bloods that were taken at my 8 week appointment (10 weeks ago now...) though. Everything was exactly like I told them they would be, so no surprises there. Was in and out in under 5 minutes. :undecided

I've got another home visit this morning. This time it's the community midwife talking about breast feeding. I hope it's useful.
