Good luck tomorrow Jox! I'm both excited and nervous for you :)

Lol, I think baby has hiccups. I can feel a repetitive 'beat' down below that is too regular to be kicking/tapping and too slow for a heartbeat. :D
Yep, sounds like hiccups to me :D

OH told me to get car seat tomorrow as well :) So car seat, pram and moses basket, that will be a lot ticked off my never ending list.

I'm 99% on babystyle oyster still, read lots of reviews tonight so far, undecided on which carseat, there are a few compatible ones. I'm also unsure reg ISOFIX but told OH that I will just get the actual seat tomorrow and then we can look into the isofix. My car does support it but baby will also be in other peoples cars too and I am thinking wether it's worth the money or not (trying to be a moneysavingexpert LOL)
The carseat would be able to go between ISOFIX/not cars anyway, it's just the base that would be a potential problem...? I guess it depends how much travelling bubs would do in others' cars and whether you'd be happy for that to happen without the base as well. The bases are also available on eb@y etc - and they're not the same as carseats with the problem of not getting them second hand, so can be a much cheaper way to get hold of one - and also sell it on once you've done with it. Worth considering when deciding whether to 'invest'?

Is it because they're worried about bubs being too big, Durham?

Nice presents Becca :) DH got a text today (he was working from home) asking for our address, from his colleague, today so he thinks they're sending something to the house for bubs... He works on a team of blokes, so I'm intrigued to see what they pick ;)

MrsBunny, hope you're feeling much better now and that it doesn't happen again! Very glad you got checked out though :)
BZ was all ok at your appointment this morning? Do you think you're going to go back tomorrow for a sweep? You'll be 40 weeks in 3 hours

Nothing to report here except I've made it to 39+0 today! Not long now :D
I know, crazy talk! Yep all was fine at the appointment. Told midwife that I didn't think my cervx was 'favourable' for a sweep (and therefore induction either) so didn't think there was a point to doing one tomorrow (and it would just depress me to confirm that nothing was 'ready' ;)). She agreed, said we could do it next week (assuming I want to and we get that far) and if I change my mind about having one in the meantime I can call/text her. I so hope MiniZee takes matters into his/her own hands before that though ;)

    You feeling any changes?

I slept so badly last night. Was knackered all day yesterday but then when I went to bed early at 10pm I couldn't get to sleep and was awake in the end til about 5am  Woke up at 9.30am just instinctively knowing DH was oversleeping (he was sleeping in the spare room, as he brought home a cold with him yesterday! Impeccable timing :cool:). Then had to stay up for the midwife appt, and when I finally got back to sleep about 2.30-3pm I thought I'd be able to get a few hours in, but my dad rang (to "see how I'm doing" - code: where's the baby ) and woke me up after about an hour! Siiiiiigh. When I told my folks they'd woke me up, they got huffy with me!

Faith - it's difficult to say what £260 is worth as it's different for different people. However I don't think I could be happier. The class was really informative and enjoyable, my hubbie also enjoyed it and found he learnt do much. One lady who is having a ceasarian found the first day a waste for her, as it's all about labour and the pain relief, but got more out of the second day and breast feeding session. However half the reason I went was to make some friends as thankfully we've met 7 wonderful couples who can't wait to meet up, but we're just finding our feet. If that hadn't if happened and that group didn't suit me then I might have felt that the class was a little expensive, but still worth doing.

Becca, what was wrong with your class?

    Happy due date BZ!

Good luck today Jox, will keep popping in for news :-)

I keep meaning to add some pics of our nursery, aka the marshmallow room - lots of pink and white(!), to the fb group but then stop myself as I worry everyone will think we've taken a silly approach. It's pink and Winnie the Pooh though which are two of my loves/obsessions so it's like heaven for me hehe.

I have the midwife on Friday, the one appointmnet bf can't make as I can't change it to any later as she is 'fully booked'...apparently...but I think he's secretly glad as I have to have two jabs and blood taken and he's not good with needles (understatement!)

Dog let was in the vets yesterday for castration (another evil role bf got out of because of all his Travel) so now he is moping and out of sorts. Glad to be getting him done before bubs is here though.

As for bubs, lots of little movements every so often but nothing too huge yet. Don't think she likes me walking much, she seems to turn around and push into muscle/organ when I'm walking making me uncomfortable! Going to have a little listen to her now before I get ready for work :-)

Happy due date BZ, so excited that you've made it :) not long now, these babies like to teach us patience.

Good luck today Jox, will be thinking of you.

Didn't sleep very well last night as was worrying I'll go past Monday and not be able to use the birth centre. Ended up using aromatherapy at 3am to chill me out so I could sleep. Nct baby that was 13 days over arrived yesterday at 6lb13 so she obviously wasn't ready on her due date. Trying to keep this in mind today as I remember my first scan I felt I'd been cheated of two weeks compared to what I thought the edd was. Trying to remain sane :)
