Wow that nursery paint company is great.
I wrote them an email saying pretty much what I wrote on here, not in a stroppy way but just outlining what had happened and that I wasnt sure what to do because what if I order more but its still patchy and I hadn't noticed I could have ordered 5l for only £5 more but didnt think Id need that much anyway etc etc
Anyway they have replied already and are sending me 5l free tomorrow! Brilliant! I will definitely use them again if I decide to paint any furniture what great service.0 -
Well we picked the bridesmaids dresses and ordered them
I managed to fit into one was just tight at bump but they took my measurements and said they usually advise pregnant women to order bigger as it's easier to take in so they ordered two sizes above my pre preg weight and the style is easy to alter so said it can be reduced by 2-3 sizes if need be which is better than being stressed out about not fitting in to one !

Great news Claire, I was going to suggest you emailed them and explained that you'd expected it to be plenty but needed another coat and if you'd know you'd have bought the bigger - glad they responded in such a positive way, good customer service seems so rare these days!0 -

Yeah considering I had to have a fight with debenhams over a £16 pair of gloves and this is a small company it really shows the difference! They really should flag up the £5 difference in cost as I'm sure most people would order more then, I know I would have! I just never scrolled down that far!
DH literally laughed when I said I was emailing them as he never complains to anyone which really annoys me, so I had a right smirk on my face when I told him we were getting free paint!0 -
I am thinking the last time I posted here was probably when I was under 12 weeks. I'm now 32 weeks.
Went to Asda today thinking they will have good prices in their baby event but nothing stood out.
I did buy a moses basket blanket (with holes in it) and moses basket fitted sheet for £5 each but I don't know if they are standard prices or good moneysaving prices. Anyone have an idea?Cup of Tea? :coffee:0 -
Hi ladies
Need some advice from 2nd/3rd/4th time mums or any new mums still lurking on here, I have sort of had a mini panic attack tonight which ended in tears with DH almost laughing at me but giving me lots of cuddles and telling me we will go shopping tomorrow if it makes me feel better..........anyway question.......
I want to breast feed....what do I need? I have breast pads and a hand me down manual pump. What else will I need....thinking bottles if I'm expressing? Nipple cream? Anything else?
Clothes wise.....what did you live in in the first few weeks? I need to get some vest tops so it can be easy access to boob as all my tops at present are more t-shirt like which will be no good. Also thinking some lounging trousers as if I have stitches/sore down there then jeans (which I currently live in) will most likely rub/hurt.
I've never slept with a bra on. Do I need to get some sleep bras so can wear pads to stop any leakages?
All I have done is make sure baby is well equipped but haven't thought of myself. Lots of information out there right up until you give birth then bang.....you have baby.....no information.
Of course hormones are taking over and I'm getting emotional over nothing really......poor DH he has had it all tonight!

Mrs TM I'm so sorry this has happened to you and your partner. Your beautiful baby Dale was a lucky boy to have such loving parents and I hope that you will be able to take some comfort in having known him, even if only for a short period of time xxxx0

Just what God gave you! Some little bags for freezing the milk, I got mine from boots but that was five years ago so not sure if they sell them anymore, have a look on amazon!
Re the leakage, you can get nursing bras which flap down for feeding and you can pop pads in there, they are comfy to sleep in so that might be good for you? M and s do some good ones x0
