  • Kerri - re bf, if you put a breast shell on the side that babys not feeding at, it collects milk which you can store for use later or at least stops those huge leaks :p
With DD1 I couldn't express at all but when bubba was feeding on one side, loads came out the other without me even trying :rotfl:

Will be thinking about you Durham girl. I know from experience back to back isn't good. You're either really brave or mad to go without an epidural :D

Oh and noone told me that when feeding on one side, the let down kicks in on the other side so you end up grabbing for towels whilst feeding.

Haha oh dear! Although do you have breast shells? As you could be building your freezer stash if its really bad - after oral thrush due to me taking antibiotic I found it a huge help to have frozen so I knew she wouldn't end up with thrush again (although fingers crossed you won't need it for something like that)

oh and CONGRATULATIONS Nickit, Firefly and BigZippy hope you're enjoying your bundles

  • Good luck Durham_girl! Hope all goes smoothly and you soon have your little bundle :-)

I've woken up with a little less energy but as much, if not more, motivation than the past few days - very strange, feel like I'm on a bit of a go slow.

Going to pop the last load of baby clothes on to wash tonight before I go round to the in laws, then I need to put it all away over the weekend, not sure I have enough drawer space allocated to clothing now haha. Bf has sent pics of a couple of things he's bought - cutest shoes ever; little dolly pumps which are black with white polka dots and red flowers on the front and some cute 'daddy's little girl's pjs. Need to get this lass some 'mummy' clothes I think!!
