I'm so tired as I've now joined the broken sleep gang. I was snoozing away happily until I approached 34 weeks then suddenly I've been waking multiple times and having more pain. My PGP was never bad at night even though I limp and am in some pain all day, but it looks like that's changing.
Does anyone know how often my baby should be moving at 34 weeks? What should I be looking for?
Sorry you've not been sleeping well
My mw always asks me if I've felt 10 movements in 12 hours xFirst baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/140 -
Lol Becca! You are mental :rotfl:
I have set up the cradle with new mattress, washed all the sheets, blankets, clothes and am nearly there with hospital bag....but it still all feels a bit surreal. Can't actually believe it will be a matter of weeks till I get handed a little baby. Think I'm a bit mental too cos there's def a baba kicking away in there, I just can't believe it even tho I'm like the side of a house
Don't say that... You're due on the same day as me!!First baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/140 -
Just checking in all is ok here apart from the fact I leaked some wee again! It seems to be if I leave oing to the toilet for a while so I will try and go little and often.

Hi all
I'm a longtime lurker but finally feeling confident enough at 29 weeks to join in lol. To be honest I'm finding this pregnancy really hard. I've had PGP from about week 12 and sickness for what feels like forever although it has reduced from throwing up 4/5 times a day to just occassionally during the week (sorry if TMI!). And now we've moved house I feel like this forum is one of the few things I can take with me0 -
Hello all - moving to this thread from the others as I am now 25 weeks
(well will be tomorrow). Cannot believe how fast the time has gone!
Hope everyone is well.
My due date is 8th May - Team Yellow0 -

Ive always been told to contact someone if the movement isnt normal for you.
So I would go from that. I got a 'count the kicks' app. So everytime the baby kicks when Im near my phone you click on it, and then at least then I can tell if Im going mad or not imagining she hasnt kicked less. I wouldnt totally rely on an app but sometimes I wonder if Im being overly paranoid so its helped the past few days.
My baby was a bit quiet on Saturday and I said to DH if she hasnt moved more in her usual style after me eating dinner we are going to the hospital because it was only just that day I had read a story on baby & bump about a lady whose baby was only hiccuping but not moving (dont count hiccups as kicks as they are involuntary), and she went to the hospital and the baby was delivered immediately at 31 weeks but he was ok. If she had left it he wouldnt have been.
Anyway baby gave me some major kicking and bouncing so it was fine and has been ever since. I think they do have some quieter days than others but if you ever feel like its just 'not right' then no harm in calling your hospital and they can get you monitored.0 -
Finally my Asos maternity coat is ordered and on its way!
The size 8 I ordered just before xmas was too small around the shoulders, sent it back for a size 10 and some idiot there decided to send it to a random address I had saved in my address book - where I lived at uni about 8 years ago!! instead of back to the same address, so it got rejected - at least no one kept it! and Ive been waiting for 3 weeks since then for it to get back to their warehouse and to get a refund!
Then I had to wait a few hours for my gift voucher to start working. I can barely do the button up on my coat I have now and although its a bit irritating buying a coat I'll wear for like 2 months I have to wear something and at least I had a voucher.
Then I got really annoyed on the phone this morning and I think hormones led me to burst into tears when I came off, I was so frustrated.
I bought DH some gloves from Debenhams for xmas and the mitten part on one( they are those fingerless adjustable type ones) has just completely fallen off and hes worn them maybe 8-10 times. So clearly the sewing was faulty in the first place.
Their email customer service told me to return it to store (bit like silly Mothercare Becca!) so I sent them an email saying no I bought on line sort out a way for me to return on line. At least with Asos when I had faulty jeans I just sent a photo and they sent me out a new pair the same day and I put the faulty ones in that envelope and sent them back.
Anyway they still havent replied so I rang them and some silly woman on the phone tried telling me the same thing and I was getting more and more wound up so hung up and cried instead.
So I then posted it on their facebook page and theyve given me a different email address to contact so Ive done that and quoted some Consumer goods act I found, which says the onus is on them and not me to prove the product is faulty as its within 6 months of buying it. So Becca again you might want to quote them that!0 -
Just been told that My work replacement starts next week and it's really freaked me out! I interviewed her and chose her but now i feel all weird as it's just hit home that I won't be working here in 4 weeks time!!
Must be just the hormones as I am really looking forward to finishing but feeling a bit emotional about leaving the team!!0 -

We've gone for a tan colour that matches the branches in the wallpaper. It was the cheapest we could find so that I don't cry when it needs replacing in a couple of years.
We are also going to put down a rug in case we have a champion vomiter like DS!
Welcome polka and jen
Midwife appointment this afternoon when apparently I'll get the final say if I'm allowed in the birth centre - fingers crossed for me please!Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck
