We've got that worry too! We keep referring to the baby as his name (and have to be careful not to say it to anyone else!) and he's got so many cute little boy clothes it'll be a bit of a shock if he comes out pink! Luckily a lot of the newborn stuff is gender neutral as we bought it before finding out the sex so we don't have to worry about bringing a baby girl home in a blue suit saying 'Little Dude' on it or anything! :p I'll just have to add pink patches to the jeans and dungarees if baby does come out with girl parts! :)
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

Lush have you tried drinking from a different container? Sounds odd but a colleague couldn't drink anything out of a bottle when she was pregnant but was fine with anything in cups, maybe you've got the opposite? Just thinking it might seem 'thicker' coming out of a sports cap

Hmm hadn't really thought of that if I'm honest! I'll start bringing in a bottle from home from tomorrow. I have some Subway straws in my drawer which I will try today. We have my old gym bottle, or a couple of 1lt gym bottles at home. Or I have a couple with straws on (which flip up) which I can try - thanks! :)

Wanted to save £7 out of my weekly 'allowance' this week to start the Christmas 2014 pot but I think I will need to spend some of it tomorrow on frozen veg. Sounds daft but I've consistently forgotten to pick any up and I want some to go with some of my meals whilst bf is away (he isn't a massive veg eater) just one of those little frustrations I suppose. Need to add some more £1 coins to bub's money box too

    Good luck Rummer! :)

Claire, would it be worth contacting the Kiddicare head office to try and wrangle the 10% off retrospectively? Sometimes with companies if you contact them to say you'll return your item and reorder with the new discount they'll refund you the difference or send vouchers to save the extra work and as a goodwill gesture. I don't know if it'll work, just seems worth a try, especially if you mention that you're still in the market for 'big spends' with them! :)

The discount was yesterday only, so think we missed the boat on that one!

Went for boring black on the car seat as team yellow. Shouldn't moan as it'll be ok for any subsequent babies no matter which flavour they are. :D
Cant wait to buy proper outfits once baby is here. Only bought babygrows so far, lots of white and mixed brights. Love a baby in all white! Although once I'm responsible for keeping them white I might change my mind.

Feeling less queasy now. Really hope it's not a return to the morning sickness of the first 10 weeks!
 Mini me due March 2014

I could have screamed when that email dropped in yday!! I was wondering if it was worth emailing them to say that I was going to return for a refund and re-order with the extra 10% and see if they would apply the discount, but thought I wouldn't get a reply yday.
    hmmmf
I also got the quidco, but still annoying.

Got one of the boys in the office to take it to the car for me :D The seat was really light but in a huuuuuge box!

Good luck Rummer, will be thinking of you today.

TL thats why I'm trying to hang on at work for an extra week. I'm scared I'll get bored and spend a full month eating in front of the tv before baby arrives!

Luckily mine came to my house, I tried to sort of signal to the guy could he bring it into the living room, but he left it in our metre square hallway so I thought fine Ill drag it then shall I ! But yes it was really light :rotfl:

Yeah I guess might have been worth an email as you say Birdie, had it not ended yesterday. Although I dont live anywhere near a Kiddicare and you have to pay to rearrange delivery so not sure if theyd comply..

Same here with the name thing! Have to make sure it doesn't slip out.

I wasnt too worried but then someone posted a thread on baby and bump saying has anyone been told one sex and then found out it was the other, and of course that thread then attracted anyone who had, and Im sure its a small percentage but Im wondering now!

I could only drink through a straw when I had morning sickness. At one point literally all I could drink was orange & mango J20s. Thankfully that phase is over now was costing us a fortune :rotfl:Only thing is we still have some left and Ive gone right off them! My friend said she had a massive thing for tomato juice when she was ill, her DH went to Costo and bought a huge crate after getting fed up of repeated trips to the supermarket, when he got home she said sorry Ive gone off that now! :)

I have a cupboard full of stuff that I had to have to eat or drink, bought loads, then went off it ;)

Yeah I have the J20s, plus some rich tea biscuits - Ive only ever eaten those when Ive been sick so quite frankly just looking at the packet makes me feel ill! Perhaps I should find a foodbank to give them to or something.

Our freezer is jam packed full of ice lollies. DH bought loads when that was all I could eat some days except some I didnt like and now its too cold to eat them...

I know some kids who would really like them but Im not sure their mum wants them to have them :rotfl:
