Live in a sparsely populated rural area and dont really get to the town very often ( hate shopping !) but today had to go to bank and buy a calender which I had forgotten to do. Walking to the high street I kept rolling round my head 'Think like a coin. Think like a coin......' and found 1p:rotfl: In thinking like a coin I was eagerly scouring the edge of pavement along the wall - coins drop and roll and come to rest against a barrier.......well thats my thinking anyway! Also had 4 points put on my Tesc* card from receipts picked up at checkout.
Couldn't help but smile at this!! I do the very same thing because I think the same way - coins roll and hit a barrier. Don't get me wrong, I've found plenty in plain sight but more often than not they have rolled to the wall or other barrier. LOVE IT!

Afternoon all,
I feel a little guilty about one of my finds today...
I found 2p next to a parking meter which is obviously not a problem.
I also found at a bus stop a little coin bag (one of those from the bank for coins) which had a rubbed out scratch card with a £2 win and 2x £1, 2x 20p, 2x 10p and a 5p in it! So that's a total find of £4.65 which I can't help but think is some little old ladies spending money for the weekend or something...
I did consider leaving it in case they came back but the odds of someone else just picking it up were high as it was in plain site.
In total today in Roadkill I got £4.67 which is going into my sealed pot

Hi HOK3Y I enjoyed reading your posts and would like to join you - even if only to improve my eyesight!
Nothing to declare so far - I haven't been out much due to the flooding but I have been lucky in finding the odd coin in the Bristol car parks.0
