Today was the first day this year that I have spent money.This is very good for my No Spend Days challenge,not so good for the Roadkill challenge :rotfl:.
So,today went to Tesco(for the first time in about6 weeks).Looked in all the trolley bays for pound coins,but found none.
By the end,had found 2 pennies.Almost made up for the £130 I spent in there :eek:

Wondering how I can bribe the kids to bring home the coins they find! I think I might get a special jar and put everything in we find in there see if we can fill it and then use it for some treats. May try and find a baby food jar haha!

I got all excited this evening when I found £1.05 whilst cleaning out my wardrobe. I'm getting into decluttering because of MSE! But then I read the rules and realised that sadly this did not count. Still, not too sad, Got£1.05. Yippee

Have come to MIL's to look after my nephew today so hoping to get into town for a bit after his mum collect him later. Will see if we can find anything whilst mooching round with our vouchers.

ANy idea's what to buy in WHSmiths?! Apart from books because I always have loads! Everyone buys me books haha.

Luckylucy, I picked up a really nice whiteboard and corkboard there last week. The whiteboard has all my finances and financial goals on it - it sits in our bedroom and I look at it every morning to remind myself of where we're at. The corkboard sits next to it and is full of pictures of our hopes and dreams to remind us of where we're going.

a good place i find is by the trolleys at the supermarkets, people route around for coins and the odd 5/10p falls on the floor, 5p's dont make that much noise.

Saying that got 12p at the cashpoint this morning m so i'll start off with that
