2p for me down the shops - I showed true dedication by fighting with four loaded carrier bags AND a huge pack of toilet rolls to pick it up!

Just off to enrol you in post #2!
Welcome, welcome to all our new rebels!! Lovely to have new friends along for the ride! I took a quick walk into town and spied a 20p under a shelf in Boots - that is a great shop to find money in. Last week I found 2 1p coins a few feet from each other just lying in plain sight.
But the best story has to be from last night in A$da. Standing waiting in line at the self service checkout, I spotted a 5p piece next to one of the machines. The woman using the machine dropped a 10p piece and it landed about 4 inches from the 5p. I groaned thinking she would pick them both up......well, wouldn't you??......and she didn't!!! She picked up the 10p and left the 5p for moi! :T I honestly couldn't believe it!
Honestly, do we need more proof that people either don't look, don't care, or considering it embarrassing?!Credit Card Freedom gained 14 Feb 2014!!Total Debt Freedom gained 29 Apr 2014!!Savings goal 30/9/23: £72,000/£538,001.....yes I'm serious!Total Debt August 2013: [STRIKE]$21,587[/STRIKE] April 2014: $0!!!!:j0 -

Live in a sparsely populated rural area and dont really get to the town very often ( hate shopping !) but today had to go to bank and buy a calender which I had forgotten to do. Walking to the high street I kept rolling round my head 'Think like a coin. Think like a coin......' and found 1p:rotfl: In thinking like a coin I was eagerly scouring the edge of pavement along the wall - coins drop and roll and come to rest against a barrier.......well thats my thinking anyway! Also had 4 points put on my Tesc* card from receipts picked up at checkout.Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi
