Roadkill Rebels - January 2014

Well here we are in the third month of roadkill rebel madness. Those who have tagged along since November have seen some fairly crazy things done in the name of bringing home the pennies....literally! Many of the rebels can tell you that it gets better and better as you go: Once your eye tunes in to look for coins, you will find more and more. Last month there was even a significant amount of moolah found in notes by the group. There IS money out there, you just have to tune in to the frequency!!

Rules? Well not many - just find as much roadkill as you can between Jan 1st and 31st(hey, hey!! See that SU!! I changed the dates!! LOL! ). The only stipulation is that it must be found outside of your home and/or car - it has to be money that genuinely wasn't yours or your family's before you found it! So if you find it down the side of the sofa, it doesn't count!

We also collect wombled receipts and discarded lottery scratch-cards to see if we can make some pennies that way too, and we keep track of these earnings separately. I keep track of my finds on an excel s/s and within my signature but you can keep track however you like. Then, at the end of the month, you can report your total finds.

Hiya jazzy and flamingo and welcome! Your rebel numbers are in post number 2. Best advice I can give you is to not give up - your brain is learning to notice coins and it takes some time but once you are tuned it, you should be able to make daily finds. Best of luck!

Well, another one is to always scour the floor around self service checkouts - I find money there more often than not.

Yeppers! I snagged one there earlier today and it netted me £2.03! Haven't had many good ones in the last couple of weeks so it really made me smile!
