Have you got room for another little one? Would love to join you as sounds like a bit of fun.........and there is a profit to be made no matter how small!!

Chucking it down here and 70mph winds forecast. I need to pop to the post office and Aldo s later so will keep my eyes peeled - "think like a coin" - love it!

Alas, nothing for me today :(

My back is in agony today and I haven't been further than the kitchen and if I found any roadkill in there it would be mine anyway LOL

Hopefully my painkillers will actually help tomorrow and I'll be able to take some exercise and find a few pennies to boot!

You have all put a huge big smile on my face this afternoon! Popped into the village for a few bits and "forgot" about my new challenge for the first half of my outing and then I remembered to keep my eyes peeled!

So, there I am with the mantra in my head "think like a coin" scanning the floor as I go about my business. Nothing near the trollies, the cash machine, the bench outside the post office. On my way back to the car I figured that coming up with zero on my first outing was likely.........but then I spotted a glistening round object just infront of me and there it was.........my very first penny!! :T

I mastered a "mid walk swoop and scoop" manouver and went merrily on my way with a huge grin on my face like a Cheshire cat!! I never knew a penny could make me so happy!! :rotfl:

So said coin was wet and lonely and it is now snug in my pocket. The next challenge is to try and find it a friend!!!

Hope you feel better soon Monkeyballs. It is horrible when your back is bad.

It's amazing the satisfaction you can get from finding a penny when you're challenged to look for them! LOL

Thanks for the sympathy too, I have a slipped disc and is making life "interesting" BOOOOoooo... but drugs help :)

Luckily I have this site to keep me entertained because I've been bad for a few weeks and am so boooooored!!!

No friend for my 1p yet, but been in work today with hardly any liklihood of ever finding roadkill there! Popping out to the library tomorrow so will definately be on the lookout near the machines where you pay your fines etc. Keep searching!!!
