Well the Asda order came, but a lot of substitutes. I had to return them as I didn't think onion rings instead of chilli cheese bits were much of a substitute, and prawn platters instead of chicken ones. I know I would eat them but not my kids. So I will have to go shopping somewhere else now and hope I can get what I need. Good job I ordered early and have the time.
Ex bf contacted again later on last night. I was not rude or anything, but reiterated that the damage was done. Can't actually block him yet as he is supposed to be taking DGD to the pantomime on Sunday, and I don't see why she should miss out because we are seperated. He has been the main man in her life for all of her life after all. But if he slings any mud again, or is a nuisance then I would take further action and block him after Sunday.
Rather bizarrely I seem to be holding up better than he is. But don't worry so far I have no intention of ever going back.
I am just incredibly saddened that he has had to do this in the first place and that leaving it now to say he loves me and cant stop thinking about me is some what like shutting the stabke door when the horse has bolted. Or you don't know what you have got until it's gone.
This morning I am struggling as I didn't sleep very well, Don't feel any better and really feel like death warmed up. But it is time to wake up DGD and get her ready for school and me ready for work. Perhaps if I go in I will feel better and if not perhaps they will send me home again. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Well I managed to get through the day, but I am still having a lot of struggling with my voice, coughing etc, and the pain in my chest from it all is unpleasant. Alas when I got home tonight, DS is now complaining of a sore throat etc. So we have shared the cough sweets!.
I had no enthusiasm to go to work, and when I got there, they had forgotten to collect the sewing machine from the menders, so I was a bit stranded. Helped the girl that does the photography to sort some new clothes out. Went across to the other outlet, and discussed a few ideas, and started to go through my "scrap" bag of things so that I could do some recreation work. While I have been gone there has been a discussion about moving me into the front office of the unit, so that I have daylight! yeah!. Windows.
Although its a bit colder when the door will open and shut etc, but I think I would rather that then the blank walls.
I got to go through a bag of clothes that had come in from another unit, and sort out some fabrics that I think will make some great retrended clothes. So at least by the time I had done that my mojo was sort of back. If I could feel better within myself than that would help.
Put petrol in the car today. Used a voucher my Dad had given me for Petrol, so saved £2.35. So I need to squirrel that away into a savings account. Was not in the mood to cook, but as I was about to send DS to the chip shop, I remembered I was supposed to be saving money, and looked at the fridge again and came up with a curry, from kidney beans, carrots, onions, and a potato or two, and a handful of diced up lamb left over from Sunday dinner. I feel quite chuffed as it was quite good, there is enough for me to take to work for lunch tomorrow, and I didn't have to spend any money after all.
My iphone is not working properly, I cannot get through to the internet, and I cannot send Iphone messages. So not able to access here, my bank balance, my emails etc which is so annoying. Dad said take the battery out and put it back in again, but I cannot see that you can take an iphone back off? The sim goes in a little bit on the side. Turning it off for a while didn't help Even removed the sim and then put it back and that hasn't done anything either. So yet another problem that I have to sort out.
I have had a couple of messages about getting the Sun Paper codes from on here, so I am off to see if I can find the appropriate thread, as I forgot to collect a paper today.
Then as soon as I can get DGD to go to bed, I am off to mine.
I have work tomorrow, and I still have some shopping to sort out, and then Friday is DS's party so I will have to leave work early, and get the hall decorated, and then get back with the food etc and set it all up.
I forgot I need plates and the like, so a trip to the Poundshop in my lunchtime I suppose. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

DGD and I will get a holiday and maybe I will take her Mum with us? We will see when the time comes to sort out the bookings at the end of the weeks tokens. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
There is some kind of reset by turning it off and holding down the round home button. Can't remember what it is though. Maybe google will have something to help. I've had the battery out of mine, to exchange it for a new one. It's not for the faint hearted! The screws are teenie tiny! xxx0

Well we have something nice to look forward to, as if we have to put down a few choices, and dates it will be a bit of a surprise where we end up!.
I am still hoping to go back to Portugal as DGD loved it there. However Biggest of Mooloo said to me that I should broaden my horizons and go somewhere else. Be brave Mum!.
Where is the brave woman who used to go on holiday on her own? Heaven knows what happened to her. (She got old??)
This morning I have set up a payment across to a little used Nationwide Account, for my Squirell Account. And transfered across £2.35 that I saved on the Petrol Coupon. Little bits are now going to be used to do this, as I cannot get the money out of there by transfers etc, its a cashcard, and at the moment I cannot remember the pin number so it will take an effort to get at it.
DS has really annoyed me. In Early December I gave him a Payment for my National Insurance to pay in to the bank when he was in Banbury. I just found it screwed up on the floor. If I get into trouble with HMRC about it, he better watch out, I just went in and shouted, (well squeeked) at him. All he did was go under the covers. If he wasnt over 6ft tall I may have been tempted to smack him one!!!
So now I have to take the time off and go into town centre and pay it before I get into trouble. I tried to set it up on line, but they tell me that the account number doesnt exist. (REad straight off the paying in slip).
Right time for school. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
To be honest Mooloo I think you should read the riot act to him. Was the money screwed up or the paying in slip? Surely he is old enough to know how important it is for you to keep up the payments.
How exciting to have holidays to look forward to. I do hope you get your first choices and that the weather is good for you.
Take care
