I don't think I've ever posted on your thread mooloo, but .....I have wondered why you were throwing a party for a young man who seems to be showing you such disrespect financially and in other ways when things seem so tough, it seems to reinforce the disrespect you are offered by some of those close to you. :(

I hope you understand this is a comment, not a criticism ....none of us get our relationships perfect!

Maybe because he is her son and it is his 21st?,he is no worse than many young men and is trying his best to get work and contributes when he can.

As I said it was a comment, not a criticism. Its not what I would do, but that doesn't mean its the wrong thing to do. :). I would see things like making the payment to the bank as part of 'contributing' in a way he can.

Anyway, good luck to you and your family moo loo. :)

Oh I wonder myself some times, but its not in my nature to be nasty, and as mentioned your only 21 once. I wasnt supposed to be the one doing the party originally it was his Sister but shes unwell now. And it was going to be in the pub he used to work in but it closed down suddenly.
Anyway the food is now purchased, the paper plates remembered on the way home.
My Dad is going to help me with some of the driving and now I believe that he is going to help me with the costs. Good old Dad. I am very lucky with my parents. (maybe that is why I am so good to mine!).
The pennies will be watched for a while and I will recover it. I have been throwing every penny I could into a savings account and so we can do it without using my emergency fund.
Especially if Dad chips in aswell.
DS has been out and about looking for work.
it was the envelope with the cheque and paying in slip that was on the floor. Dropped out of his pocket when he was looking for something nodoubt.
It has been a long day and we over ran at work, then bbc with the detour to Iceland, then to Biggests in Northampton to put the food in her freezer.
Her BF went to London today to collect a new bed for her back. He is very good to her. Which is a nice change to her previous partners.
    :)

Hope DS had a fabulous birthday party :)

Trying to stay off MSE during the week so missed all the shenanigans with ExOH. Definitely manipulative :( And I would say lacking in balls if he couldn't even face you when he dropped of your things. Glad DGD has her bike back & hope biggest is feeling the benefits of her treatment ;)

Great time was had by all! The bank of Mum now needs time to recover! Bit of tweaking and frugal long around to get me back on terrafirma again.
Won't take me too long if I keep my head down and be creative in the kitchen as well as the sewing.
Biggest back is showing some signs of improvement. But still not right.
ExBF has been friendly etc and apologetic etc but I am still resolved to stay away.

Was thinking that I would have to go food shopping today as running out of easy stuff, mince, sausages, chicken etc but thought I will do it tomorrow when DGD is at the pantomime. So after a rake around its a prawn curry for my tea. DGD has spaghetti bolognaise left over from the other day.
There is a cupboard full of packets. I must get my thinking cap on and use them up.
I have several packets of Mung beans. Must sort out a place to sow them and sprout them for Chinese meals etc

Even if he comes up with his usual stunt of 'I'll take you and DGD to Portugal for a nice holiday' ?
.................:)....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

I will take DGD and myself to Portugal for a holiday. Last year his daughter and his blindness to her picking on DGD was enough for me to say Never again.
I paid my own way and I will Pay my own holiday this year.
    It is difficult.
I do love him. I dont know if I will "cave in" along the line. But at this precise moment in time, I am not going back to the way things were. I hurt so much.
He came to collect DGD this morning, and had a cup of tea while we were getting her finally ready. It was difficult.
We didnt talk about us, as obviously she was around.
But it was a bit heart wrenching, when they left.
There was a funny moment, though. As on his way here, he hit a bird. It was stuck in the gap between the bonnet of the car, and the grill. He is rather squeemish, so it was me who went out with the kitchen towel, and a carrier bag, to remove it.! While he put DGD into the car. He did say, See I need you. But all I quipped was that he shouldnt have told me to Bog off then should he! He actually thinks in his mind that I had Left Him. Becuase I wanted to come home on New Years Eve.
So we are both seeing the same action in a completely different way.
Anyway, I am not prepared to go back and do all the running anymore.
I have plans for 2014, and my sewing etc. I have plans for my home, and garden, and I want to be based here. I cannot cope with living out of a suitcase every weekend anymore. Or spending all the holidays there and letting my son run riot here at home.
I cannot be doing with his adult children and thier behaviour towards me, or him actually.
So we are really in a bit of a stalemate. So with that, there is currently no option but for me to move forward without him.
I know its very hard to keep my resolve. But as we all know, he has reeled me back so many times, only to go back to the same ignorant treatment. :o
If someone would show me how to turn the "love" feelings off it would help me. I plan to be as busy as I can to compensate.:D

Anyway, enough of wallowing about my love life.
Today is shopping day. I need to go and get a proper food shop in, and to get on top of the housework.
Monday is back to work, in the new space they have created for me, and the Retrend section of the clothes. I hope that they will continue to focus on what I have been doing, and get some of it sold! The photographer has been told she has to do the pictures of my stuff and get it on the site. She has not been bothering much with it, concerntrating of pushing things on Facebook. So hopefully now she will take a bit more of an interest in my things.
The other side of the business is moving forward, so my friend who works there is really working hard, and has such great ideas for what I can do. I may even be able to start to make things other then clothes.
Then on Tuesday and Wednesday its my sewing at home. Where i have the sofa covers to start to create.
The first is the Denim one, as there is a customer lined up for that one. So I will be starting the panels on Tuesday.
Twin1 is talking about having DGD more regularly for me, but I dont suppose it will last, but when she does it will free me up to be creative at the evenings and weekends, when/if I have my energy levels back.
I am still struggling a bit with my health. Winter bugs etc. And the SAD, doesnt help. But hopefully the sun will shine enough to help me bounce back soon.
Its really cold out there, and when I went out to get the car seat out of my car, I slipped on the path twice. Scarey. So the Salt is down on the path now.
The shops are now open, so its time for me to go and get the basics back in stock.
The washing is on. The front room is hoovered, and some order after DS's mates around is beginning to look like it should again.
Onwards and upwards we must go!
