DGD is not with me. She went to her Grandad.
I met Twin2 at her lodgings, and met her Landlady. Talked at length with her, then around mid day Twin2 and I went to the Eden Project. That place is not cheap! But it was a lovely place, we had lunch in one of the biomes and then went back for tea, her landlady did us chicken salad and then afterwards we spent a few hours seeing the local area, the places that were interesting, etc. Had my own tour guide.
I am so relieved that Twin2 is safe, living in a lovely house, and the landlady was a professional carer, and she is helping twin2 with all the things her carers up home should have been doing!
I can sleep easy tonight. I have a long drive ahead of me tomorrow, and Silverstone traffic to contend with at the end of it all.

Great, sounds like she's really landed on her feet, how reassuring for you. Hope the drive back is not too bad .
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Well I am awake, bleary eyed, but awake. Having a cuppa in my room before I get dressed and go down to breakfast. I woke a couple of times but soon went back to sleep. Someone shouting outside the window just before 8 woke me! So someone wanted a Colin, he replied what you doing, and as I shut my window I said waking everybody up! Oops think I was a little grumpy!
So I better get my positive hat back on and change my mood around!
Breakfast is being served between 8-10 so I was planning on leaving it till about 9.30 so I didn't need to stop for lunch on the journey back. But now I am awake I suppose I will go down earlier.
this is a beautiful part of the country that twin2 has come too.
I'm hoping she can make a good life down here, and the landlady seems to have taken her under her wing. Hopefully it's in a good way.
Time will tell. But it's so much better then I had feared.
Not looking forward to the long journey home and the Grand Prix traffic on my way to pick up DGD from her Aunty ( that's where Grandad is dropping her, due to the Grand Prix) so an extra 20 plus miles on the journey, with back roads, actually no that's more, cos I have to get back through it all aswell. (Ugh!!!)

    HOME, safe and sound.
Dgd collected from her Aunty, and d etc and we are both in bed,.
Just realised that I have left my phone charger st the lodge,, so no phone till I can beg, borrow or buy a new one. I sent an email to ask about it but of course that was from my iPhone so I don't think that I can access it if its sent to the iphone colours. What a plonker!
Tired out so hope that I get a good night's sleep. Least nobody can ring, text or message me! Oops

If its an iphone charger you are missing, you can buy them for a couple of quid from ebay or from the site play.com, even with postage, much cheaper than buying from a shop

..But with a vastly increased risk of the thing causing a house-fire (or exploding)!

    Very dodgy money-saving indeed.. :(

ps. Great news re Twin2, Mooloo. :D

Well, the ones Ive had from apple (Ive got two ipod touches and Im on my second Iphone) have lasted 3 months tops.

One I bought from argos that cost me 7 pounds also lasted 6 weeks.

The last one I bought I bought from poundworld, they sell lots of iphone accessories.

And my biggest bargain has been a mini ipod docking station from the gadget shop, sold through WHsmith that cost me £3.99 down from £30 and it was advertised on here.

If the chargers I got from apple had lasted, Id have never needed to replace them in the first place.

Ive never had any issue with any charger Ive bought on play or ebay or poundworld, apart from it going kaput within a few months, which is exactly what the ones that I got with the original items did as well.

Anyway, it was just a suggestion, the OP can make her own mind up.

I've found third party chargers don't charge as fast and fail far quicker than proper Apple ones so tend to buy from Apple store so if it doesn't last long I take it back. They just exchange it.
