My shelves are in. And I spent the evening painting them, and the wall. Although it's a bit patchy at the moment. I also need a ladder to reach higher up.
I spent the day at work removing Staples from fabric samples and scarves etc. I heard news that they are looking at a shop with four floors, offices etc above. Apparantly I would have a sewing room on the top floor. Let's hope they get it. Mind you all those steps may be a challenge. Good job I am walking better these days.
I didn't hear anything from twin2, so I don't know what the latest news is. I just hope that the universe will head my prayers and find an answer to her plight.

I have had a call back ( yes is phoned back and left my mobile).
Social here talked to Social there. They are aware etc I have confirmed twin2 has no home to come back too. I have told Social I cannot help her, and that she would be better off staying away from the people up here who are/were causing her trouble.
They will now hopefully be directing her where to go, they mentioned a Charity/ sounded like Stolhem, but haven't googled them as of yet. Been rather busy.

It may be Stonham that they're talking about. I believe they offer support. You can find more information here

It might not be them and please excuse me for butting in...I just know how confusing all these service providers can be and sometimes it can be helpful to just have a read. They offer support to people from a wide range of backgrounds, usually in relation to sustaining tenancies.

I have been following your thread for quite a while and just wanted to commend you for coping as you do. Some might say we have no choice but to cope but I find your attitude and actions incredibly inspiring :)

Edit - just realised that Eager_Elephant mentioned Stonham before me...time for glasses I think!

No problem, thank you for the link.
I am never sure I am doing the right thing, and find the world inhabited by my twins to be a very scarey one.
I wish for a magic wand at times to give them insight into what they are about, and how to see they exist and don't have much of a life, when they could if they would access what is there for them, and if the government would stop making cuts that stop disadvantaged people from getting the support easily.
I am praying to the universe, sending positive vibes, and trying to amass the cosmic vibes to align in their favour for once.
But it's rather hit and miss! Maybe I'm on the wrong frequency.
The care in the community- is more like - damage in the community, for many people with iffy mental capacity. But that is the system, and I think we have lost our humanity to others at times.
My Charity begins at home, but it does extend to others, however I feel rather like a lone fish in a pond of sharks!

Today, who knows what it will bring? Perhaps all will be well in the world. Well my world. I suppose we have to be greatful that at least we are not at war.
There fore by the grace of god go I. I suppose.
I'm hoping to put another coat of paint on my shelves this morning, and then when it's dry start sorting my stash out of my bedroom, and onto the shelves. Although I have still the rest of the room to paint, it will have to be in sections as I can get around the room, and I still have alterations to do, but can't get at the desk at the moment.
Right time to jump to it.

I have a veg patch! With thanks to BF and a pick axe. So the peas, beans, celery, parsley and mint is in.
I cut the lawn, and we moved the paddling pool and other garden furniture. Really pleased.
DGD has gone to her Mum, so I have now come to Oxford. Although I'm a football widow so too speak. bF and his eldest are watching the Match that's on now, before the England game. I may be going to bed early at this rate as I really don't get football.

You are not alone in being a football widow, Mooloo ;o) Well done on the veg patch - but be careful of the mint, it's extremely invasive and if it's not contained in some way it will take over !

Watching American cop show on TV in bedroom.
Please send positive vibes for twin2, she had a job try out in a pub today. Did an 11 hour shift!! I hope they didn't just use her, I hope she gets the job, if she does it is a live in position. Please god, she gets it and will be safe.

I said that too BF, should I put it in the top patch where I put the blackberry and raspberry cane I put in. But he didn't think I needed too yet. We will see.

No milk, so black tea it is then! I am at BFs, so not my bad shopping. His.
A few hours here then it will be time to go home and collect DGD from her Mum, and then it will be washing the school uniform etc, and getting ready for the morning. Keeping my fingers crossed for twin2, to get a break and get that job. ( how long she lasts is another matter, but she did surprise me and get her personal license a few months ago, and she did used to work in my pub in days of old. Mustering up all the positive vibes I can for her. As it would mean a roof over her head as well.

No news so far. Believe twin2 is sofa surfing at the moment.
So am just waiting for her to pop up on messenger.
DGD said they didn't go out much at Mummies, but they played monopoly, and watched Barbie movies.
She also mentioned trouble outside the flat, and Mummy called the police! Oh dear! I also spoke to a neighbour who told me the same. At least she thinks that twin1 is trying to stop the callers, but with the football club next door, the trouble often spills out under their flat. Something I will have to assess, before DGD goes back.
Twin1 is going away tomorrow to her BFs for about 10 days. Then he will be coming up mid July.
Haven't heard from DS or Biggest, so presume all is ok with them.
Spoke to my Dad on Skype, well and Mum, they are in fine fetal, and enjoying France as usual. They are near my sister for the next 3 weeks, and have been to see the house they are buying. It will take them several years to rebuild and get it habitable! Rather them then me, but it will be the third house they have rejuvenated. Be it, the biggest project.
BF still hasn't made up his mind about our summer holidays, dispite all my research etc, and preferences. I just want a holiday booked so I know we are going. Talk about dithering. I'm supposed to be the one who dithers and doesn't decide things, but on reflexion, I find it's his opinion, etc that actually causes me to dither. When he's not in the equation I have much less trouble deciding. I would have booked the holiday I liked to Greece last week.
I would have gone back to Portugal too.
    Oh well.
I will hang on this week and if he doesn't decide I think I will tell him where I'm going, and if he wants to come he better decide too or he will be on his own for two weeks while DGD and I go!

Back to work at the recycle centre this morning, I hope the boss is around, as I want a chat about the changes that are about to happen and my role in the place. I'm not very happy at the moment, and would prefer my designs, makes to be labelled and recognised as Mooloo's work and not just under the Thrift'ee label.
I also want to put my prices up, as £7.17 is not a liveable wage really, and for my skill set I feel very under valued. Of course I could partially shoot myself in the foot, and not get the work anymore, but then I would have time to just build my own business which is what I had planned 12 months ago when I started.
    Time to get up.
I've been sitting in bed drinking tea and catching up on the iPhone.
What did we ever do before these were invented!
