    (((Mooloo)))

I'm glad you have an address for Twin 2 now - hopefully her moving away will be the making of her.

Why do you have to do what BF says, it is your money at the end of day.

I am lucky in that I work in a large town so I get things when I am at work but sometimes on a weekend DH wants to pop over to get something but I always say we will go to our little town because once we have paid for petrol and brought the item it is the same as paying slightly more.

Could you ask on Freecycle? Some areas have a Facebook page for free items as well.

We collected about 200 pots from a lady a month ago, I hardly go on Facebook and that day I went on right after she posted.

People always have spare pots kicking around.

Fingers crossed work goes ok and you aren't stuck with the smell of dog wee:eek:

Now ............. before you start screaming you don't cook your baby in the thermal cooking bag but just imagine all the scrummy meals she is going to enjoy growing up from the bag!!

Now - all together now "Awwwww!!"

Thanks Memory Girl, I still struggle to get pictures on here. Glad I sent it too you.
Had to laugh the Mum was away when the parcel arrivedand the husband asked her why had she ordered a dogs bed when they didn't have a dog!!!
It was also the Dad who was playing with the baby in the bag!
So it's a versatile thing. The two pads are kids pillows on the car on a long journey. Or the bag keeps the drinks cold on a car trip/ picnic, and you can also sit on the pillows( if your about 4 and have a little bum! )

Just spent the evening reading my latest Sew Magazine with one eye on the channel 4 program about kids on the bread line.
All I wanted to do was say go to MSE, follow frugal queen, old style, and go to MFin3, they will show you how to stretch that budget etc.
And now I fancy making a 1960 inspired dress out of my pile of vintage fabrics! I'm off upstairs to see if I have enough of anything too hand to cut out!!

Dress fabric real 1960's polyester too boot. Cut out and started. But need to change my sewing needle so a good time to stop. I won't get to finish it immediately as I will need a zip. Don't think I have one long enough in my stash, although I did have some very old zips from the 70's somewhere.

Dispite taking the herbal Valerina to help sleep, I was up and down four times. The last being at 4.20 this morning, when I used Avon sleep mist to try and drift off. ( but had weird dreams then, about someone I know turning against me and being chased/hounded:(. I get such horrible dreams, not always quite nightmares, but not far off. I don't know why they get so weird and dark!
It must have been a hot night as the milk I bring up to put in my tea I have when I wake has gone off. Better try freezing it in ice cubes and bringing one of those up.
Today is work from home day. My friend is coming over to do the housework with me, and we will blitz the place from top to bottom. Shouldn't be so hard, except my room, which is the dumping ground for all the clothes, ironing, and under all the recent stuff the sewing stuff that didn't have a home. ( I been holding out to do this room until the shelves were built, but just can't stand it anymore, so got to at least sort the top piles out! :(
Then it's the alterations, and other sewing projects to do for the rest of the day.
The sun is out so far, so a walk to school this morning then.

So the plans went out the window! No surprises there then. Did the school run, did two hours housework, spent ages on the phone unsuccessfully trying to sort out a problem with my bank.
Then biggest of Mooloo came over with DGD2, she's not happy, been ill, and has run herself ragged. She wanted my opinion on giving up her full time job, and looking for part time work. She's missing her daughter growing up, she's not got time for home or partner, and basically she's wiped out. I said let's look at the budget etc, and then suggests she gives it up, spends time packing up etc ready to move house in a month, and then spends the summer with DGD2, and looks for something part time when they are settled in the new house.
As long as BF is happy about it of course.
She's going to go home and talk to him. But I did suggest she took the rest of this week off and recovered properly instead of rushing back to work. I think she's really on the edge of nervous exhaustion. Having been there I see the signs. She fell asleep while we were taking, and DGD 2 nodded off so I left them to sleep when I went to get DGD1 from school.
I'm tired from doing very little!!!
But I don't have to have DGD2 tomorrow, so I will do all the sewing stuff planned for today tomorrow. I have an approved food delivery tomorrow I have to wait in for that anyway.

Let's see what today will bring.
Text at 7am says AF delivery is between 14.06 and 15.06. Hope it's before 15.00 as have to collect DGD from school at 15.15 and don't want to be late. She has a school disco at 17.00 - 18.00 so we will need to get home, snacks, and ready for her. At least I won't have to drag DGd2 around to the school 3 times!
I shall take DGD to school, then head off to do my parents lawn, re read the meter as dad thinks I got it wrong, and take a trip round Aldi and get topsoil and compost for my plants, if they still have any. Before coming home and sewing. (Unless it rains then it all changes).
Both twins have borrowed money this week, they onviously caught me in a good mood, and with my guard down. And I had been doing so well aswell.
    Must do better!!
Bar a few crumbs that need hoovering up from DGD, at least the housework is not too bad, and I can attack the washing that's started to grow again! I swear DGD is changing socks three times a day!!!
    Have a good one.

Heart breaking crap going on on Facebook about my twin2.
The girl who I threw out has been taken to court for fraud apparantly, and that got things started. I have had to put them right, but it's made me so angry, as I write this a message from twin2 has just come up.

Twin 2 cannot stay where she is- has to be out by Saturday. Social services down there won't help her. Social worker up here isn't in. But another has just rung me back, asked what the issue is, and is going to talk to her superiors and ring me back. But I have to go out now to take DGD to a school disco.
Worried. But what can I do?
