Evening. Just got home at 8pm after a detour of some 30 miles as my Satnav said to keep left, and I ended up on a motorway going south when I needed to go north!
luckily DS got DGD from school for me.
Had a good day at work and then the wedding dress fitting, but all that went fine. Just the trip back.
Time for food and rest.

Morning has come too early.
I stayed up later then planned as had Biggest on the phone for about 45 minutes. DS had left here to go to her, but hadn't arrived two hours later so we were worried. He got a rollicking when he finally turned up as he had gone to see one of his friends without mentioning it.
Had weird dreams and didn't feel refreshed on waking.
Today I am meeting one of my oldest friends( in time not age ). Haven't seen her since last May. The time and life just get in the way. We had to book today a few weeks in advance.
While out I will need to do a food shop for fruit, veg, and milk.
Paid twin2's rent as usual ( the bedroom tax) and then realised that I had said no to her sister for money yet she is benefiting from my paying her stuff and she's not having all her benefits paid to me anymore. Must go back to the drawing board with their budgets and make sure it's fair.
Have a good day. Although it's yuk out there isn't it.

Had a good day yesterday meeting my friend. Went to lunch, her treat. Spent a few bits and bobs in the charity shops. Haven't done that in a while. So today need to sort a few things to take out! That's easier said then done with me ! I am such a girder. But it needs to be done!
DGD is driving me nuts this morning. Taking forever to do anything. I hope it's not going to be one of those days! I've had to put the washing back through the machine as when it dried it was all covered in soap powder! Argh

Definitely not a great day today. From waking early with stomach cramps to DGD being sent home early from school as she was sick.
The sewing jobs that should have been easy were not and took much longer to do.
I did something wrong with the bread maker and it didn't mix the ingredients so wasted the loaf and now we are short of bread. I'll have to start again but it won't be ready for the evening meal.
Had to call across to the doctors to re order my hormone patches as couldn't find the repeat forms.
Got my long cardi wet as it was stuck in the car door when I went to get DGD from school.
One of those days then !

as DGD isn't allowed to go back to school until tomorrow the alarms were switched off, and no pressure to be anywhere at a set time. I found a double bed on the car boot pages this morning for £50. so tomorrow DS will finally have a bed rather then a sofa bed .
One of my regular sewing customers came by last night. So a few more little jobs to do. But on the plus side she has two bags of clothes for me to recycle. For free. Hopefully they will give me some projects to make for myself to sell rather then for the recycle company.
I am going to kick start my self somehow.
Still need to declutter and so think as Am not at work today that I will get a head start on my wardrobe. Then I can get my stock for recycling from all that I have without spending any money. Bonus. Anything that's not inspiring to do can be sold either on Fleabay or sold for cash perhaps at the recycling centre.
Decided that today is my day to act.

Cricket I am still in my dressing gown. But I went into the kitchen to wash up after breakfast and with the radio on Smooth Radio I have not only washed up I have put the dinner in the slow cooker and then blitzed! Yeah you can see the counter tops again.
Now I will go and get dressed.
Perhaps the secret is to do the housework in my dressing gown!

spent hours searching for paperwork for tax man. In desperation I rang them only to find that they hadn't asked me to self assess this year. No wonder I haven't been able to find any paperwork. Now I can relax a bit as I was so stressed out! Been searching on and off for weeks!
DGD is fine although she's not eaten loads she wasn't sick at home so she can go back to school tomorrow.
Two customers paid me today for sewing jobs I did yesterday. Half the cost of the bed I'm getting tomorrow.
Also two bags of clothes dropped off to go through. But cup of tea first !

I bet life is a bit easier now that DGD is that little bit older. At least she is at the age where she will be wanting to help out for a little bit of spending money. My daughter has to load and empty the dishwasher and the washing machine for her pocket money. x

Did they tell you why? You're SE and according to you quite profitable, so it seems most odd. I think you need to clarify this with them, in writing (not a txt or email).
