If you've been threatened with arson why on earth aren't you ringing the police yourself?

Mooloo silly "boys" do stupid things and people have died because of it. Take the strongest action you can and keep on at the police.

He doesn't even know where I live, I am some 12 miles away. So I am not really in fear of him. Its the twins that are the vunerable ones.d Twin1 tells me that the police did go to talk to him, but that he was back on Sunday night, threw a banana at her window, and was hiding near the lamppost to see what she was doing. She has contacted the police to keep them up to date. The police are going to be speaking to the housing about the gates, and the entrance to the flats, security.
Other children have been "employed" probably by the lad, to throw stones and berries etc at her windows, so the local police are patrolling around a bit more at the moment. Twin1 wants to see if she can move. So she is scared, as she has not wanted to give up her flat for anything before.

DGD has been very quiet all day, hardly eaten anything. Her temperature is not really showing as high anymore, but she is hot to touch, and flushed, but the rash seems to have gone. Perhaps the Nureofen is working.
I managed to alter the wedding dress and replace a zip in a jacket.
So I am fairly happy with that. I would still like to have caught up on the Bags for Zimbabwe. But perhaps I will get more chance tomorrow.
Its been a weird day, one minute sunshine, the next black clouds and heavy rain. Its very worrying for everyone near the floods, I am just grateful that I am up high, and not really any water near by.
My thoughts are with those who are.
Praying for a break in the rain soon.
My embroidery machine has been dispatched, yeah. Lets hope it arrives soon.
Spoke to my parents on Skype this morning, as I was not able to go and see them as planned. They are both fine, staying in out of the wind etc. Its Mums birthday on the 17th, and Dads on the 24th. Still not sure what I can make for them this year. It gets harder and harder to do things each year, as they are always clearing out and giving stuff to us.!

Sorry, you can't know that. You have a young child to protect and I really can't understand why you haven't spoken to the police about what is criminal and arrestable offence. The police take threats of arson extremely seriously, why won't you?

The threat was made directly to mooloos daughter, who has called the police? Not sure that mooloo calling them would have any benefit at all, as she didn't hear the threat, and the person who did has reported it.

Twin1 told the police. If the police believe that he is a threat to me, they would inform me. I am sure.
DS went to Banbury to sign on, finally he is signed on. Some month after starting to try!!
DGD went to school, she really wanted to and as she didn't have a temperature I sent her, but she is not so brilliant this evening. I will reassess tomorrow, I think perhaps it will be a day at home, this weather is awful for everyone. Poor DS was out on his motorbike with the sudden downpour.
He did go and collect her from school for me, as it had stopped raining by then. I managed to sit at the sewing machine, for most of the day. I made 17 bags from pillowcases and Duvet Cover, for the Zimbabwe appeal. It took me from 10am - 5pm, with a couple of breaks for a cup of tea, and a sandwich. I think that that is enough sewing for one day.
No sign of the embroidery machine today. Lets hope it comes soon, mind you I have to wait for the threads to come anyway. And the stabiliser.
I sorted out the accommodation for our Sun HOliday to France, added on a couple of nights, (Mind you that was double the cost of the first 4 nights, but if we are going that far, we may as well have a good break between the long drives). I had enough in the savings account to pay it direct, so I haven't had to go onto the credit cards or anything.
I still need to book the Tunnel though. That's quoting at around £77 each way at the moment. May do that this evening when I have had dinner. Its just cooking at the moment.

gosh this weather is terrible for so many people. Really just want a duvet day.!
My thoughts with all those who are suffering with floods, power cuts, and travel disruptions.
worried that twin1 will have problems as she's due to go to her BFs by train. Have told her to check the trains etc but she is stubborn if she has a plan she is very rarely able to understand changes etc
    Take care everyone.

yeah yesterday while I was at work my embroidery machine arrived.
alas on not such a good note they are not selling enough on the Retrend stuff and so she is cutting my hours by a third. So with a rather scarey future, I need to up my game as by the end of March I will be loosing £210 a week income! Through various funding and other cuts.
so I will have to learn how to photograph my work better, and learn marketing too.
This morning I would normally have been at work, but already that's been cut. so time to learn all I can about my machine. DGD is home as she's still not too well. I think This morning I am starting to snuffle so think I have the beginnings of what she has.
so grabbing the bull by the horns and stepping up to the mark.
    onwards and upwards. (I hope).

spent the morning making a pencilcase for Molly's daughter. then a ring pillow for my friend who is getting married soon.
I have had a great time playing. I had some embroidery threads already lurking so managed to do a few items in practise.
this weekend we are in Oxford.
Monday I will be back on the ball, but this weekend it's relax.
