another day already.
Had a relaxing time in Oxford. wellies put to good use and when the Sun came out yesterday we went for a walk across the back fields along the edge of the floods. Lots of fields were under water. The garden of the Victoria Arms was nearly all under water, bar about the top 6ft. Only because it's on a slope ! (Pub often used in Morse and Lewis on TV).
DGD got mud up to her arm pits !
got home to face the mess of DS and one of his mates here. But he did at least get up and start to wash up without my saying anything.
I was tired but pushed on. made a iPad cover for my Mum and then a soft toy embroidered for my DGD as had a free patern in my sewing magazine. Used an old duvet insides to stuff it.
Before I knew it it was 10.45 and bed time .
I have work today, so DGD is at Holiday Club. Time to get a wiggle on.

Well yesterday was a not so good day. Tensions were high at work as one of the directors who normally works else ware was planning on coming over, normal you would think, but there is a injunction on him as he caused trouble a while ago. Think he's a bit pshyco I. He was taking assets to disrupt work in other units. had to hide my stuff as last time he took it. he actually didn't arrive, but the alarm codes etc were changed and all units were on high alert after bed hit two. Taking vital equipment .
fun and games then.
when I got home I had a go at DS as I could smell smoking in the house, and it wasn't just smoke ! Stormed into his room and gave him 24 hours to pack his bags. Although I did calm down later and turn it into a final warning.
He has gone out already this morning as his sister Biggest called him. She has had a word on my behalf and will e again no doubt. To drum into him his actions are not acceptable. I have DGD to think about.
Today DGD and I are at home. Possibly twin2 will be coming over later. She tried to get money out of me again yesterday. Gave her a loaf of bread and a carton of milk. As I was shopping in Aldi when she rang. But refuse to give money.
today is housework catch up, then sewing.

well I am on my tea break. I am struggling today. sAD is giving me a big black dog to deal with !
I crave the Sun today.
I have a bathroom that now looks like a Chinese laundry.
the kitchen has been dragged back to nearly presentable. The floor is just drying.
I have started in the front room. The ironing and the dusting are fighting for attention next. before I can get to the sewing machines and get on with making things .
perhaps the ironing better win, I can do that with the TV on, to distract me.
I hate ironing. So better get it done and out of the way while I am already feeling yuk, it can't make me feel much worse !

I have done the ironing that was down stairs.
stopped for some lunch. a customer just called, she's on her way around to collect a jacket I had worked on.
so just as well the housework is back on an even keel.
Twin2 has rung, going to collect her at 6pm.
so full house for tea tonight.

as usual it was all change.
sewing collection brought me 7 skirts to alter, and a blouse.
also a conversation meant that I have collected several bags of clothes and shoes to recycle for her. Both of us will gain, as I get to have what I want from it and then sell the rest on at work on Thursday.
twin2 and her friend decided to have DGD for the evening, so I had time off . which I spent sorting through the bags while watching TV.
DS came back from his sisters, he is moving out and moving in with them! so that will change the stresses here.
it will mean a rethink on the budget , yet again as dynamics change the housing benefit.
it will change the days when he did help with DGD. But should save me in the long run.
I will continue to keep on with the housework this morning, and then do the skirts, later. I have started on them, and did the blouse already.
I will try and stay positive. at least there is sunshine here at the moment. So that has helped.
onwards and upwards then.

re-reading yesterday's post I sounded more positive then I felt.
I did keep on keeping on though, and continued to tackle the mountain of washing, so bathroom looks like a laundry but at least it's done. Tomorrow it should be dry enough to iron ( or fold and put away, if I can get away with it).
I had a mini clear out of my wardrobe, and have a large box of things to dispose off one way or another. Hopefully sell some of the better things.
I also managed to do all but one of the alterations from the day before and have a customer coming by this evening for a suit alteration needed urgently for a funeral.
DS has started to pack his bags. Mixed feelings on him going, but I know it is probably for the best.
we had a clean bill of health at the dentist.
I spent the evening on the embroidery machine making a cover for my planner. Didn't finish it yet, but will play again soon .
This morning DGD goes to the Holiday Club and I have my 2nd day at work.
I believe BF is calling over tonight so I won't be sewing or ironing then.
But I have tomorrow at home to work this week.
next Week Biggest of Mooloo starts her new job and I will be having my other granddaughter on a Wednesday and Alternate Friday afternoons.
Time to finish my tea and grab a shower before we kick start the day properly.

well the plans for today have changed. DGD 2, is unwell so DGD and I have come over to look after her for the day. she was due to go to her other granny at lunchtime, but there may be a change to that plan as She became a granny for the third time in the early hours of the morning. 3lb 13oz little boy. at such a small weight am not sure if she will still be at the hospital. Time will tell.
so I am away from my stuff , and limited to what I can do on my phone.

Well done to mooloo biggest and her partner for encourage DS to move to theirs.
Mooloo, this is a good thing and a natural thing for a man of 21 to leave home. He needs to be somewhere where the dynamic is different and more will be expected of him. I can't see her partner putting up with his laziness. He may be able to teach him a bit more about being a man, not a boy.
