Logged onto the bank and transferred £90 to mortgage. Vouchers used last week plus regular monthly op of £75. Updated sig and despaired of hitting my target. Then realised I've been diverting £100 a month into an isa that pays more than I'm charged for my mortgage. I'm such a muppet. Had my annual appraisal in work today with someone who clearly hadn't read my form and who only wanted to air his own views. I wish they would cut the pretence and forget about the process. I'm in grumpy form tonight. Am heading to bed and will hopefully be happier when I waken.Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. Overseas rellie deposited at the airport yesterday so fingers crossed for a return to normality. It was great to have her here but it's a bad time of year to have to accommodate additional stuff. I'm desperately in need of an unbroken night's sleep but it doesn't seem to be happening and it's cold and miserable outside. If man were fully evolved, we would hibernate. Today I am grateful for warm water
Heated car seats
OH working from home so reject freezer can be collected and new one delivered. Does mean we will have 3 freezers dotted around the kitchen for an hour or so. Won't the dog be confused!
Anyways, hope everyone has a good day. Only 2 more weeks to work. Yay.Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. Nooooo. Just did a long post and lost it. Bottom line, having heard of 3 bereavements in two days, I've made an effort to get back in touch with friends I should see more. Life's too short.
Wrong freezer collected, right freezer left. Lots to get done pre the C day so must crack on but not lose sight of msning. On Monday, went to sbugs and got 2 bottles of third off champagne, added 4 cheap bottles of red wine for mulled wine, got 25% off and thanks to nectar! only had £10 to pay. Total result. Am still deleting all shopping related emails. Have a weekend in London from sat to mon so know will have a bit of a splurge but am ok with that. We will spend Saturday with OH's parents, have theatre booked for matinee Sunday (cheap tix to a show oh wants to see) and will feed my man cub Sunday evening. I consider these to be worthwhile investments. Happy hump day everyone.Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. Today I woke after the first uninterrupted night's sleep in what seems like forever. I feel so much better for it. Today will be a spendy day as I need to pick up some things ordered in November before our weekend away. This shop is in a basement so has probs with card machines. All spends will be in cash but everything is made locally so not only do I get unique, high quality stuff but I'm helping my local high street. I'm tackling some outstanding issues today at work and have pre booked time with staff. I'm not sure how it will go but it will no longer be hanging over me. Last night I started the freezer transfer. We have enough to feed an army. It truly is ridiculous. I make an apple and cinnamon loaf that is my fallback as people seem to really like it and it makes use of need to be used apples. Finding 5 x 2lb loaves in the outgoing freezer implies things have gotten a bit ridiculous. Also found one of OHs favourite foods lurking that is being removed for dinner tonight. Have found so many nice things, am thinking of having friends over pre Christmas for an evening, it'd be good to catch up. Still, need to get moving. Today I am grateful for
My long suffering OH who is so supportive
The dog who destressed him yesterday
Being able to support my friend

Another relatively uninterrupted night's sleep so feeling fighting fit. Am gonna attack some work before heading to the office. We're having a dress down for charity day today and I'm treating my team to lunch so a spendy day. Yesterday I picked up my goods and was given a gift value approx £12. I went to m&s for a Sarnie and the lady in front of me in the queue let me go ahead. I then bumped into a friend with an umbrella when stuck at a broken pedestrian crossing which kept me a lot dryer. Got home to find dd had made amazing in roads to the freezer transfer so lots to be thankful for. Also got a free gift that I had been hoping for with an online purchase.
For me, it's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas yay.Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. I'm glad you are getting better sleep. I have been struggling to get to sleep at night, tossing and turning for hours. I don't seem to struggle to sleep when I am supposed to be getting up in the morning though...
