  • Nothing yet re the job so I've more or less written it off. But, I'm not desperate to move from where I am but this has given me a real boost knowing that I'm seen as a credible candidate.

  • Thanks brogden. Unfortunately I spent too long around put me down people to be overly confident of my abilities. I'm great at recognising other people's plus points but not so good with myself. Must try harder.

Good to see you beanie. Today the roll continued. I got dd Christmas gift sorted, made some chutney and baked some goats cheese bread using up both cheese that was on its way out along with some dubious potatoes. We also used meat from the freezer for dinner along with veggies that needed to be used up and also got all the laundry washed though the ironing still has to be tackled. Also, did the first of the coupon shops with sainsburys so will have another £5 to overpay. Got Halloween goodies best before jan but reduced to 10p. Today I am grateful for

Loving the sound of the goat's cheese bread (and the lovely dog)

  • Also, just withdrew £83.05 from tcb. That's another contribution to the mortgage once it clears. Isn't it odd how it's either feast or famine in terms of MSEing.

  • I think it's nice to be able to look back on the diary when there is a MSE famine and remind ourselves that it won't always be like this. Otherwise, it can be frustrating seeing the totals stay the same day after day, lol x

  • Wise words gib. Thank you. Slept incredibly well and woke up feeling marginally energised which is as good as it gets for a Monday. Need to get a wiggle on now as I'm out to see a film this evening thanks to some free tickets. Maybe the key to a good night's sleep is to actually be productive. Now, there's a thought.

  • Ah INOD I agree that the key to a nights sleep is to be productive or physically active. :)

Glad you had a good nights sleep.
