  • INOD it will all go well and they would be lucky to have you. I wish someone would fly me in for an interview. I did get sent a job via LinkedIn for Dubai the other day, but a bit far to get home for the school run. :rotfl:

I also emailed someone in our London department snd they were positive about a possible move.

I just need to hold it together for a bit longer :)

Good luck INOD. As if you need it :)

  • Hey INOD,

Loads going on! You sound really focused though, and how nice to be 'head hunted'. Lots and lots of luck for tomorrow, and hope it goes well and that you get offered it, whether you decide you want it or not ;)

Sorry to be late with my good luck wishes, I hope by now you've finished, that it went brilliantly (I'm sure it did), and you are enjoying some R&R with London-based son.
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?
  • Thanks for all the good wishes. Today went better than expected but I'm unsure what the outcome will be. Still, I managed to get a John Lewis monster Christmas catalogue to add to my collection. Also caught up with and fed the man cub who appears to be doing well. Am just vegging and catching up with diaries then bed. Hope things are good with all of you.

  • This evening I went along to induction at a local gym where I took a one month membership courtesy of a groupon deal. Would love to get into the way of going but didn't want to commit money and possibly not use it. Will keep you posted. This will be the second strand on the diabetes attack. Would love to get meds reduced. That's next year's first resolution. Busy day work wise but got through some stuff which is always a plus. Anyhow, need to be on the road half six tomorrow and the weather is dreadful so an early night for me. Today I'm grateful for
    Good friends
Nice gym people who neither condescended nor sneered.

  • I've kinda got an injection of MSE mojo. Stopped off at an outlet on way back from dublin and picked up a handbag for OH's mum for Christmas. It was 199 down to 59 with 25% off in jaeger. I had £30 of loyalty vouchers so it cost less than£15. So £30 to go to the mortgage. Got home to find sainsbugs vouchers off the next 4 weeks with a 5000 nectar points bonus for using all four. Went to lidl this morning and got some reduced Italian meats best before mid dec along with cherry toms, etc. then visited tesco and used £3.60 of vouchers for stuff that came just under £20 so another £3.60 to be overpaid. Also, avoided the Saturday night takeaway but using up fridge bits and pieces for dinner supplemented by on offer purchases from tesco today. Also, got a secret sale offer through for DS Christmas present and I will be able to get cash back and can use £50 of vouchers so big sighs of relief all round. Anyhow, gonna do a bit more catch up of diaries and snag an early night. Tonight I am grateful for
