Good luck for tomorrow too - being approached for a role is great and my experience was being wanted more than I needed to sell myself and it being an informal chat than a proper interview - perhaps why you feel a little more relaxed about it?
Fab to read £10k knocked off the mortgage now too, a great milestone with 10% so close now as well. Well done :T:TBack on the DFW Wagon:

Aargh. My post evaporated. Thanks Ali for your encouragement. I think I'm less bothered because I'm not desperate to move from where I am. Bit of a disturbed night but that's as much about the client meeting I have at ten as about the interview at 12.15. It did however answer a niggle. I'd had a back of the mind thought that I owed extra to the mortgage and overnight I remembered from where and how much. Our work lottery syndicate has had a few small wins so we get two free months. That's £10 to head to the mortgage and me a quarter of the way to making up the q3 shortfall. Anyhow, think I should go do a bit of wardrobe research and also on the company I'm applying to!Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. Ever manage to talk yourself out of something? Think that's how my interview went today. An hour and a half is far too long. OH reckons that whatever the outcome, it'll be what's right for me. I however wonder if this is instead evidence of my ability to self sabotage. Bed beckons and I just wanna draw a line under today.Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. Today I went to lidl to use the Facebook voucher. I should have read the small print. No big surprise it was not available in ni. Still I got some cheap items that I will use between now and the big December day. I also picked up some prescription items, dropped one item of clothing into the charity shop and got a few bits and pieces done. I also had a nap!
DD has realised that having a friend to stay for 2 weeks is excessive. I'm glad it's a lesson learnt and am just saying roll on Monday til we get our house back. I'm not sure what this girl's home life is like but she seems oblivious to the efforts made for her just taking everything for granted.
On a really positive note, due to the mad dog getting a ball stuck, a ring I had lost was found today.
Today I am grateful for

Hi INOD. That sounds a bit like the job interview I had last year. I got the job but it turned out to be a big mistake. Listen to your instincts and if you are in anyway unsure get some advice and really think about it. I'm sure you would anyway, but remember, they would be very lucky to have you (not the other way around!).
Sorry about the Lilty voucher. Hopefully the ni one will come along soon.OSWL (start 13st) by 30Jun20 6/10

Not at this moment in time, but if its a teenage girl, I think that's quite a natural feeling at times. But then they can be really lovely for the rest of the time - I think they may get possessed or something, so take a deep breath - or just go out and leave them to it - that's the easiest way. You'll come back and they will have returned to normal. ps menopausal women and teenage girls is a definite firework mix.:)
Probably a good reason to have children either really young, or really really oldOSWL (start 13st) by 30Jun20 6/10

I wish it was a teenage girl. It's my 28 year old daughter who should know better who went out partying with her currently in residence friend, felt tired, took herself to bed at another friend's house resulting in overseas friend being delivered back here by an equally drunk other friend and me and the dog being disturbed at after one as they had to ring the bell to get in. I've just managed to rouse her by phone and she should be back in half an hour. I don't generally mind when they have friends to stay, will provide supplies etc but they are expected to behave responsibly. Sorry, here endeth the rant.Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes.
