  • Hello poor neglected diary and how are you? Am I the only one who finds it easier when pushed for time to nosey through other diaries rather than updating my own? Well, money shuffle done yesterday and the 10% target is firmly in my sights to be hit next month. I told oh that we needed to come up with an extra £300 and he looked at me like I have two heads. I can't believe he doesn't get that that has been happening. Anyhow, am in Germany with work so things are a bit spendy. I went to nice butchers at the weekend and spent £50 then did a big asda shop that was £128. Is it just me or are prices rocketing. Also, having exclude the £2k op to the mortgage as it was a one off windfall, I can report that I missed q3 target by £60. Want to recover that and hit target for year end. It will be a stretch but I'm due some expenses which will help. So, gotta get ready and head to a corporate thing. Hope it's not too late a night and hope everyone is well.

  • Am still trying to get some structure to thoughts. I forgot (don't know how) to report that despite holiday spends, we managed to clear the credit card this month. I love that I can earn points and not incur any interest. I did some Christmas shopping on line today as I had a voucher for £10 off a £20 spend. Even with the postage and packing charge,I'm still £5.05 up so need to transfer that to the mortgage. Other news, I picked up a new client and, even more exciting, have been approached about a possible new job. Basically delivering what I currently do but for a competitor for a significantly higher salary that, for me, demonstrates their willingness to invest in the function. I have an informal interview scheduled for Friday lunchtime so will know more after that. Today I am grateful for

  • So today I should get a full day when I'm office based. I've so much to do but it's cold out there. Still, I can do a partial slob with trousers and a cardy rather than a suit which helps. Have started to give some thought to tomorrow's interview. Have invited a friend for lunch to discuss my approach and am thinking of getting my nails done this evening. I can't believe I'm being so laid back. Maybe I'm just too tired to get stressed about a possibility that may come to nothing. Dd's friend is still in residence however we are now into the second week so hopefully it will fly past. Anyhow, up and at em. Take care
