  • So the secret to achievement is aiming low. Got my 2 must dos done today. Also, got a product client ready. One down, half a dozen to go. Today a client meeting crept into my diary in dublin on Friday. We then got word of a tender presentation fri morning and while it can be accommodated as it's in another part of dublin, it has seriously derailed other plans inc picking dd from airport after being away for 3 months. That's me being a bad mother again but this would be a good contract that would fund another junior. Still, I'm gonna head for an early night as I need to be on top of my game. Am fed up with how getting leave always turns into an uphill struggle.

  • Even though today was busy, little was achieved apart from adding to my to do list. Meeting the boss tomorrow and we will have to prioritise. Am shattered. Today was hot and sticky. Have just vegged in front of telly since I got in. I love jac naylor in holby. Today I am grateful for the lift this site can give me.

I hate the pre-holiday chaos! Hopefully you can recuperate when you are away though.

  • Today was nightmarishly hectic. Tomorrow I've a presentation in dublin followed by a troublesome meeting. Also dd should be on an overnight flight and I can't get hold of her to make her pick up arrangements. I still have so much work to clear. I've no idea when I'll get things done or when I will see dd. I'm just in s*it panic mode with my tummy going into free fall.

  • Ach! INOD - wish I could be of practical help to you today. You sound absolutely rushed off your feet :(

However, all I can do is hope that today turns out the best it can be, that your presentation is pin point and persuasive, that your troublesome meeting turns out to be a breeze and that you swoop into the airport and scoop up that DD of yours :D May serendipity be with you :D
