So, checked out the surgery website, it says that if a matter is urgent, an emergency appointment can be mad. Looks like that's the fight for today. I've had a week of being messed about by those in authority or assumed authority, today is the day when I take no carp. It's also when I have my appraisal for a board position I hold and my less than satisfactory chair better be ready. So far this week, I've had two NSDs, today however will need to buy lunch as I currently don't know what time and/or facilities I will have so it could be a grab and go. Also, given that OH put our cash stash in a very safe place, I'm still living off last week's allowance. We really should find that safe place! Not sure how we stand money wise as I've dd spends on my credit card and the money already transferred to current account, etc. roll on the weekend when I can sit down with pen and paper.Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. Things are bad. Been referred to hospital as am on maximum meds allowed to be given without consultant input. Have also been put back on antidepressants. Not sure how I feel about any of it. I know exactly what I need to do but don't do it. It's a bit like when you're in debt and you know that you need to stop spending so you panic and go shopping. The difference is that the stakes are a lot higher. This isn't something that can go away. Why can't I just do what is needed?Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. INOD, I hope you aren't too despondent today, and you manage to do something active with your OH.
Could you get your team on board at work to support you in avoiding sugary snacks? When I needed to change my eating habits my team were really supportive and encouraging (although there was no reduction in the amount of sugary snacks on the snack desk.
I made sure I took three fruit portions as well as my huge salad. I'd have one portion mid morning, one after lunch and the final portion mid afternoon. It helped stop me feeling deprived. Apples were useful because the crunch was satisfying. I'd take a kilo bag in on Monday morning.
Hugs

Why can't I just do what is needed?
Reframe the question to yourself.
Will I do what is needed?
The answer options are simply YES or NO
Every time you falter, ask yourself the same question.
Your obvious intelligence, ability and tenacity will get you through this.
