I was saying on another thread that I would love to be overpaying on mortgage but CC is way too high just now and I need to concentrate on that.5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
Currently CC £23,674.36 /£14,895.41/£14315.42
Mortgage £28,214.65/ £26,254.71/ £25,746.43
By end 2020 I want CC at £ 19,000.00.
By end 2021 I want CC at £10,000.000 -
We normally pay our credit card in full each month. At recent worst, it hit £18k when I decided enough was enough. While we don't live as frugally now as we did when we were clearing it, some of the habits we developed then generate the extra bits to go towards the mortgage. You'll get there MIT, you're already doing well.Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. That girl is worth her weight in gold. Came out of physio, went to mr s as I had extra nectar vouchers due to expire, pockled there and wasn't home to after 9 with more energy than I'd had for weeks. Then got a full night's sleep. Yay. Anyhow, my work right hand texted late last night to say he probably wouldn't be well enough to be in today. I've meetings that run up to the last one scheduled for 5:30 so I'd better get a wiggle on as things will be manic and I'm on site tomorrow which means on the road at 6:30.

So, one major meeting down, three to go tomorrow. This evening went so much better than I'd thought. Before it, a takeaway was on the cards however we ate out of the freezer instead as the primal need for chips did not emerge. Also, managed to walk more in heels than I have since my surgery. Fingers crossed physio is making a difference. It really does boost my confidence when I can wear heels. They don't have to be too high but it truly helps. Anyhow, am off to sort out tomorrow's clothes and then to have an early night.
