So, today's highlight is a fasting blood test at 9.10. I am currently completely food fixated. Why is it that as soon as I know I can't do something, that's all I want to do. There's not been any food cooked here this morning but I swear I can smell bacon. I wouldn't even want bacon on a work morning! Also, I know the results won't be good as my sugar control has been far from good. Still, up and at em.Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. things are and will get worse in the run up to the holiday from hell! blood test results due in tues or wednesday deep down though I know what they will be. I'm really not helping myself.
still, found a voucher that I thought was gone forever so that went a long way towards the £50 M&S shop. got some whoopsied items and some bottles for my daughter's pre summer job departure party. tried on the 8 items purchased yesterday. good news for my credit card is that I will be retaining 3. Other 5 can be returned tomorrow. just got a meeting request accepted by my boss. would like to get in early tomorrow to prep. I had thought he was trying to duck an issue but maybe not. also, at the recommendation of yet another MSEer, i signed up for green redeem yesterday. £5 voucher for £25 spend on m&s food should be en route. it's the fastest voucher earning I've ever done. anyhow, better crack on. if i don't get the clothes dried, they won't go to the charity shop tomorrow and may, by osmosis, reappear in a wardrobe!Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. Wow - it's been all go for you in the last few days inod! Hope the results of the test come back positive and the meeting with the boss goes well (and remember to take those clothes to the charity shop to make room for the newbies - declutter, declutter, declutter!):)Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Meeting with the boss went better than expected. Didn't get all I wanted but got some stuff which, with him, is always a plus. OH came home from spending the weekend with his folks. Brought me one of those bumper 3 mags in a bag from the airport so I've an indulgence to look forward to at the weekend. I know they are mainly ads but they were a cutback in the debt clearing days so a real treat now when I get them. Am back in a bit of a tailspin financially. I withdraw spends at the start of the week and generally use any left overs to offset cash bills. Then when there's a balance left in the current account, this goes to mortgage op. If I put it into an isa, I'd get better interest than I pay on my mortgage but there's a risk that it could be spent. Equally, will I be as motivated to save as I am to see my percentage pay off mortgage increase?
On another note, the job we bid for a month! ago that needed an urgent turnaround gave us the green light yesterday. This means another 5 days work for me to be delivered in the next two weeks. I'm not sure how!Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. Well, had a missed call from the gp surgery yesterday. I called today and was told I had to see doctor. I requested an appt and was told July but that it was more urgent than that so I should come to the sit and wait surgery. I truly wish I had the 3 hours available for that. Looks like I was right and have totally self sabotaged again with sugar.Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes.
