So, didn't hear back re the new assignment so can only assume it went elsewhere. Not such a bad thing though as another job just grew legs today and looks like it'll be very time consuming. It's bloody chilly here tonight so today I am grateful for

So yesterday, got all bar the money bits done plus a fair bit more. Got 2 monster chicks each originally priced at over £8. Also, got lots of whoopsied stuff. Today, the freezer gets organised! Anyhow, today I'm off for my monthly massage, painful but so good. Also, have a long overdue (about an inch and a half overdue) cut and colour. Laundry and gardening to fit in round that but for the first time in ages, we appear to be going into the weekend without a pile of routine housework to get caught up on. Hope everyone's enjoying the weekend.Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. Fairly useless at gardening, probably destroy as many plants as weeds but have discovered that rhubarb is pretty indestructible. I get enough each year to do me and to give to others. Original plant was £2.50 in a market and I've its offspring ready to go to a friend. Chives also do really well for me. I buy v cheap plants and keep my fingers crossed. The reduced sections or the on offer plants will start you off. It does give you such a kick to see something you grew, flourish. Buy a packet of sunflower seeds from an el cheapo shop. If they take, you will smile every time you pass them.Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. Well I am pulverised (deep tissue massage), coiffed, waxed, plucked and coloured. I do think that I am probably the only person who resents the time spent in the hairdressers. Plus a total outlay of just over £100. Having said that, my not very healing knee feels better than it has done for the past week or so. Didn't make it to the garden but laundry is diminishing. It was so cold today.
Today I am grateful for
Resisting the lure of the takeaway
A free eyebrow waxing
An invitation, I may not accept but it was a very generous offer
No snide comment from my mother re my hair.
