Hi INOD,
Just to say hi and 'subscribed'.
Hope things get sorted with OH - that sounds a very frustrating, and probably unintentionally hurtful situation. Sending hugs xDebt remaining:

Hi giblet. You're quite right. It is totally unintentional as he is such a sweetie who hates upsetting people. Just can be a bit of a numpty sometimes. Anyhow, got a day of interviewing today for a junior. Fun and games all round. Plus a meeting with a potential new client. Suppose I gotta make an effort appearance wise. Wish I could wear jeans to work. Also, must pay the dreaded rates bill to avail of the massive £60 discount of a £1500 bill! It's a bloody joke but that's government for you.Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. Hi gp, nice to see you. Unfortunately the day of 2 halves didn't materialise. Escaped for 2 hours at lunchtime but ended up in the office til six. I have a staff member leaving in 2 weeks to go to a competitor. It's hard not to be able to talk freely. Anyhow, my weekend away beckons. Still watchers but no bids on ebay and am still feeling unsettled re OH, money etc. am not sure that I want to go at all. What's worse, a lack of clarity or hearing something you can't work with? Anyhow, whatever happens, need to get a wiggle on. Take care all.Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. Is there any room for a win/win in there? Something that you could live happily with that he would go for, negotiated before the trip, so that you can really unwind when you are away and celebrate, after all £10,000 is £10,000. There may be a plan C in there somewhere that doesn't feel like a compromise, fingers crossed for that too x!"I wondered why the Frisbee was getting bigger, and then it hit me". £9/£250

Hi there inod - thought I would pop into your diary and say hello.
I've read through it all earlier and do admire your singlemindedness (is there such a word!) in dealing with your mortgage debt.
I'm sorry to hear about your poor knee and hope it improves for you.
Yes, a**hole exes can take the biscuit can't they? Luckily I've not seen my awful ex-husband for over twenty-five years!:j
He tried to keep in with my daughter for some years, but having never been exactly Dad of The Year she cut off all ties and hasn't had contact with him for years either. I think once children grow into adults things come into perspective with them. The thing is he probably doesn't think it's his fault!
You own hubby sounds lovely and I'm sure you can turn his numpty little head towards putting some of his ppi into the mortgage. Just make sure he doesn't come home with a new car!
Anyway both of you have a wonderful break.
x (sorry I can't get rid of the little yellow jumping man below!)

Hi seaside gal, a car would be great. Our other bone of contention is his refusal to drive. He just doesn't do it despite being fully covered for my beast of a company car that most men would aspire to drive. Bmw5 series anyone? Anyhow, looks like there was a lot of miscommunication going on. We're talking again so that's good. Gotta run having spent too long on catch up diary reading. Have what should be an important meeting at 10:15. I know I should be more geared up for it but the fact I'm not just confirms that it's time that me and this client part company. There has been an absence of clarity coupled with too many staff changes for there to be a good working relationship. Hopefully today will finalise things. Will be back later to report on the barn owner who trained at the Cleese school of hospitality.Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes.
