The odd thing is I'm more annoyed about the almost dismissal of my small steps than about the lump sum. We transferred mortgage into joint names when he moved here as in ni, and maybe other places, once someone over 18 resides in a property, they have a claim on any proceeds of sale. What we agreed though was to ring fence the equity in the house as mine. Anyhow, good session at physio with another booked for next mon. Looks like my problem is that while my knee was injured and subsequently post surgery, it got lazy. It needs to be retrained or I run the risk of damaging my good knee. I'm absolutely shattered and gonna indulge in 40 winks.Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. Hope the 40 winks help. You are right my OH would be entitled to half of the property if anything happened to us but there was another issue of step children who I don't want to be able to throw me out of my house if anything happens their dad. Also there is an issue with money for them and OH was asked to go as gaurantor for their house as DIL is a bankrupt. Because of how we are set up he was unable to do this as he technically does not own a house.
The joys of relationships eh???

Well, early start to deal with bin collection but bits and pieces getting done including the mandatory morning kick about with mutt. Still a bit unsettled re stuff with me and OH. He seems to think that a sticking plaster fixes everything. Wish I could do likewise. Anyhows, need to make the best of my Easter break. Am away to transfer the £3.50 I owe to the mortgage.Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. Love your thinking skinty. You do cheer me up. I'm currently biding my time as we've a living social cheapo weekend away on Saturday/Sunday. The discussion will happen then. Today I'm grateful for making a trip to the recycling centre and offloading things that have been cluttering this house. Also, two for Tuesdays from dominos.

Well am going into work on my non working day. Grrr. Why do panic buttons always get pressed over bank holiday weekends. Still, am hoping for NSD which is always good. Also, have a load of laundry to get done if I'm to not get stressed about a weekend away.
OH did some ebay listings at the weekend and, we have some watchers. No bids but am hopeful and this is despite him putting the rejected coat on as worn and not unused.
Anyhow, gotta go and get something into gear.Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. No really, this is such a cheapo I'm worried. It's just the two of us but is dinner, bed and breakfast for less than £60. It is quite close to an outlet village that is offering double avios points......Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes.
