  • Yes, we were turning a corner on a country road when the truck in front made an ominous noise, stopped dead and put on hazards. We stopped quite close to truck then had to reverse and be directed round it due to limited visibility. We were ok but I had a timely reminder of why I have a company car as opposed to increased salary. It's big, robust, well built and well maintained by someone who knows what they're doing.

  • So manic work morning followed by an afternoon at home to await the virgin man. Inspired by the stories here, I called with a view to downgrading the tv package. Instead I got improved tv, improved broadband at a reduction of £8.50 per month so installation is today. Wonder how long I will be minus internet

Lol! I blame it on the sap rising in the spring sunshine Sassy.

Puppy sounds like he is worth his weight in gold. Your car and it's little protector sound like Batman and Robin!

  • Sad times. Woke to the news that Tony Benn had died. A true gentleman, wonderful mind and general very nice person. It must be such a loss for his family
