We had the same problem with IKEA - they delivered the wrong thing then refused to collect it. She even suggested leaving it (a triple ruddy wardrobe!!) for the binmen!!!!

If you can get by on half the dose, that will be amazing. I do remember feeling quite sick when I came off mine and really scared that I'd suddenly get very depressed again, but it just made me queasy. :-)

I ordered a playhouse for the rabbits but it was too small (for me to get into) so needed to return it, I got NO WHERE with "customer services" so did as a mate advised and got all up in their business on their facebook page, every picture and a few comments - all negative and sarcastic! but it worked, in 2 hours I had a FB message and a rearranged collection.

    So do that.

hope knee continues to improve and cheers for the advice on the tooth front XXX

  • Did a full day in work on Thursday. Was shattered. Then had a visit fri morning from my sis and the wee ones she looks after. Got one of the new raised beds planted up with bamboo that I had in pots thanks to help from my sister. The kids weeded half a bed and we planted two plants. As usual, I overdid things and am paying for it today.
On Thursday, a voicemail was left with an apology by achica. Unfortunately, they used the incorrect forename. Then on Friday a parcel was delivered replacing two of the original four items. This is despite them telling me these would be refunded not replaced. The parcel had an insertion saying it contained 2 of 4 items and the other 2 would follow. Issue is, I only returned three things as one was actually right. I am truly at my wits end. I get that mistakes can happen but how many ways can you get the resolution wrong.
On the money front, some good/bad news. While DS can get the leave to go see his sister, he can't spare the time from current projects. So I'm saved a considerable amount of money. I do wish though that he was there for her award and her birthday.

  • The thing is, I've shopped with them for the past two years or so. It's only been the last two orders that have been dreadful. I now don't have a clue how things stand.

  • A totally unproductive day. Still, I'm off mon to wed and am determined to get some bits and pieces done. The weather is wearing me down as I can't remember when we last had a rain free day.

  • Today we were both at home and we got some stuff done. A duvet went to be laundered, charity stuff was dropped off and I offloaded two sharps boxes to the pharmacist. One was from the preloaded injections that I had to administer post surgery and the other was from testing blood sugars. So glad to get them out of the house.

We also went to b&q to take advantage of their 3 for 2 on plants that I was able to combine with a money off voucher. As I'd transplanted bamboo from pots to the raised beds I had empty pots. Plus the ones at the front of the house had given up the ghost. So, I've the ones out front planted and one into a large pot and another into the ground. I just need about 24 hrs of dry weather to get the front flower bed tamed, grass and hedges cut and that's the front of the house in order. Just not sure when the dry weather will kick in.
