My favourite toilet paper is A$da brand Softer (I think! Got S's embossed on it anyway). It is £8 for 24 rolls so it's not the very cheapest but I find it quite luxurious for an own brand at a reasonable price. I am a TP connoisseur due to IBD!Mortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000

Sorry to hear you've had a tummy bug INOD. Hope you're all recovered now?!
Had to laugh at your description of your mum. Sounds just like my nanny! And my mum is slowly and casually turning into her
I really hope it skips a generation...
Nice to hear from DD. How goes DS's recovery?! x

Poor Inod, I hope ur okay now? But I do like a good TP debate. For a long time I've refused to more than 30p a roll but lately have ended up with some thin ones because the good ones haven't been on offer for below 30p. The last lot I got were Velvet ones and they seem to be too thin, so I may have to up my price to 34p a roll maximum :rotfl: so that I can try a$da.
. Thanks girlatplay.

See, this is the problem that I had too. They were all too thin. I use LOADS(blame the IBD) so I was getting through it far too fast which was definitely not cost effective. The A$DA stuff is decent quality, soft enough, long enough, strong enough and works out at just under 34p a roll!

We're cheapskates...Aldi 22p a roll.
It's much better than other "basics" TP I've tried from other places though.

Feeling fine thanks. Although must point out that we have neither ald1 nor m0rrisons over here. I can't understand as the first is in the south. Been a bit of a hit and miss week. Some good news, some not so good as it looks like the currently on holiday dog has epilepsy. She's such a good natured creature that I hate to think of her being perturbed in any way. Have decided dd doesn't need to know til she's home.
DS texted ridiculously early this morning to let me know he had survived the dunwich dynamo. How else do you celebrate recovering wrists other than a 200km overnight cycle ride?
Did the grocery shopping yesterday, used a few vouchers and now have a£12.91 plus any Tt to make this evening. This will be a spendy birthday month but I'm determined to get it below 99k. Hopefully there won't be many more visits to the vet to be paid for. Today we got the front hedge cut and the grass out the back. That filled both our brown bins and hopefully burnt off some calories. It has been so hot I haven't really done much other than veg and I've been feeling like a slug.
Ps. Just realised have paid £20k off since starting this diary last jan. :j

I'm really sorry to hear about your dog.
Brilliant though that you have paid £20,000 off in so little time.
What's your son like eh?At least he stayed on the bike.

Brilliant milestone on £20k paid off :T:T. I think I'm 5 payments to achieving that one.
Poor doggy, hope it's controllable with medication.
DS is getting better then :rotfl:.
On the TP, I buy the Nicky stuff from F@rm Foods usually - think it's £4 for 15 rolls - 26.6p a roll. Good thickness, but doesn't last long with Springy doing his Andr3x pup impression - we can lose more than we use :rotfl:Back on the DFW Wagon:

CC - £4,500 on 0% til 02/2019
