  • Love it, "fight fire with fire" is tough talk. Doesn't Nina Persson look cool and trendy, I love that look and she is over 40!

  • The best laid plans and all that. Major work crisis so no time to meet friend. Had to purchase lunch but 15p change went to the charity box. Think I may have a spendy few days. I've booked a deep tissue massage on Saturday, am going for dinner with friends on fri night and got an email telling me there's 25% off tu clothing until Monday. There are two tops I've had my eye on that will be finding a new home with me. One will be for work and the other cos I love it and it's not dissimilar to a monsoon one at more than twice the price.

  • The deep tissue massage is a great idea for keeping healthy when times are very stressful, and so are Tu tops at bargain prices.

I made the fatal mistake of learning massage techniques years ago, and now DH enjoys me administering them on a regular basis, I was cornered last night, whereas his attempts at massage make me feel like I am being strangled. I may send him on a free course .....

  • Hi peeps, thanks for the comments, am now safely home to a scrummy dinner served up by OH. Quite a good ms day as brought lunch with me and any cash spends were for parking etc that I claim back. Also, fed the gas guzzler but with lower diesel duty combined with a stronger pound I saved approx 22p a litre.
    Today I'm grateful for
    OH making lunch and dinner
