    Hi all,

no spends to report and no temptations :D

Holiday is 7 weeks away and this year I am only buying what I need i.e. shoes and swim stuff.
This is different to previous years when I would have bought a whole new holiday wardrobe (for a week or two! :o ) and spent a small fortune.
I now see the error of my (old) ways.;)

probably wont make a no spend April because of above mentioned, but still quite pleased with myself.

  • Hi All,

Declaring the first spends of the year!!

£25.50 on two new bras and matching knick-knacks. Was sitting perfectly happily the other day when felt like I'd been pierced in the heart!
Alas...wasn't Cupid but the underwire from my (admittedly ancient) bra. So that went in the bin, along with another tatty set and both have been replaced with two newies.

Not bad going budget-wise!! Have updated my sig xxxxxxx

Quick update as I've been spending again:eek:
got silver sandals for summer and holidays £10
I found two pairs I really liked and in the past I would've just got them both without a second thought, but this time I made a choice and only got the one pair :)
I have to admit it was hard though, good job the shop was just closing or I might have gone back.

    Total now £80/£120

Not looking good tbh , but I am hanging in there and I've also decided not to include underwear as no way wearing tatty old bras and knickers- life's too short:rotfl:

I am visiting my aunt and uncle for a few days. We went shopping today. I was doing ok until I saw a White Stuff outlet store.
Bought a vest top and a kaftan for £39.00
On a plus point - still under budget and I would have normally gone crazy and spent x2 or x 3 that amount. Now just have to get through the next 18 days.

DD has got me another expensive leather belt (she gets discounts). I don't know what I would do with this challenge without her! I'm another one who's thinking of deducting undies from this challenge...mmm.....
