First spends this weekend. I bought a cream 3/4 sleeved T shirt from a charity shop (£2.95) and a pair of black jeans from Asda (£12). I also bought a cute little purple floral rucksack in a sale (£4.99). Pleased to say that all were needed and weren't impulse buys. This challenge is keeping me in check - keep posting!

Hi All,
Yes, I have done it! No spend for March.
I am so proud of myself.
Originally I set my target for next month (April) at £50.00
But I am going to try and bring this down to £40.00.
Risky time will be Easter holiday when I will go and spend a few days with my aunt and then a few days with my Mum. I also have a day in Birmingham later on in the month.2025 Fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons

I was given a brand new pair of trousers today - a black fine ribbed bootleg pair with an elasticated waist. A friend had bought them and thought she would shorten them but it never happened. I always feel like I am coming in here to confess! Not quite sure where to start. Have made a few purchases in the past couple of weeks. Struggled to resist some of the spring / summer things in my local charity shop.
Picked up a lovely laura ashley crisp white shirt with little blue anchors on it for £3.49, some RI denim shorts for my holidays for £3.99, some white RI cropped jeans for £3.99, an asos jersey black floral above the knee flippy dress for £4.99, tunic top by john rocha for £3.50 which is a little big but will make the perfect beach cover up and a green chunky per una cardigan for £3.50 (technically I don't "need" another cardigan but I adored the colour). Just realised that totals £23.50 give or take a few pence. So, my plans for a no spend March did not quite work out. Have updated sig accordingly.
On top of that I have spent £35 in next on a dress needed for a family funeral next week. I did not have anything appropriate at all and in fairness its a classic smart pencil dress that will no doubt last for years. I am not counting that in my total as it has come out of our joint account.
I need to have a good clear out of my summer wardobe this month as quite a lot of things I have not worn for years / doesn't fit anymore or is worn out and bobbly! I would love to get my wardrobe organised into "outfits" that are quickly visible rather than being 70% full of stuff I don't wear.0
