I'm not a dressy type gal but I love the skater dress look with boots and leggings, it's a bit like wearing a dress...but not, if that makes any sense.
This is sort of how I dressprimarni will be first port of call I think. Will have to wait till my next student loan pay out though!

I'm declaring my first spend of the year on a denim mini skirt. Collecting a shoe order today for some much needed new work shoes. I'll declare these if they fit and are perfect. If not they're going back straight away.final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Ok then, today was a spend day on clothes - from the 2 pairs of shoes I ordered I'm keeping one pair and refunded the other pair straight away.
Spends are;
Skirt £12.50 reduced from £25
Shoes £25 reduced from £45
Total spend £37.50/£100 budget
A bit over the monthly budget but I'm sure I'll be able to reign it in to catch back up again. Next spends will have to be on some new work boots for later this year so I'll be keeping an eye out for a suitable pair in the sales between now and the end of summer.final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -

I've had my first spend of the year this weekend. A new pair of pyjamas and 2 pairs of sandals from Primark coming to a total of £39.50. Pleased with my purchases but the "old" me would have spent much more, so I'm quite proud of myself. Just got what I needed and came out.Time for some debt busting in 2015 - Light Bulb Moment 4/4/15

I would love to take part in this but think I would find it hard as I spend a lot of money on my daughter's clothes - she is very petit and growing very slowly so while her clothes last a long time they need to be a good quality for them to last as long as needed.....
My husband and I only buy our own clothes with birthday money as it is...
I am on the look out for some winter boots - I have so far been wearing little pump shoes that were my summer shoes from last year... I could really do with a pair of boots... any ideas of somewhere selling good quality boots cheaply?? many thanks xx0 -

I have a pair of ankle boots I got from asda for about £20 which have lasted me all winter (since September) basically worn everyday so that might be a good place to look if you can't spare more cash than thatFrugal Student!!!0 -

Good purchases Happytails & hope you had a lovely birthday.
I need to stop being off work on a Monday!! Strayed into my local charity shop again today (no willpower!). Found a cute cotton fat face summer dress for £3.99, some DP denim shorts for £3.49 and an oasis slightly dressier vest top for £2.49. I failed miserably at resisting!! Did manage not to buy a handbag and brand new pair of flip flops as I really did not need them.
So, £9.97 spent and added to total. My total is rising far too quickly for my liking............:eek:........I am much better in retail shops as find it quite easy to walk away.0 -
Well done everyone - I'm really impressed with the charity shop finds people have mentioned. I need to start looking in these more.
Some more spends here so my total is now £383.05. Bought a few more jewellery bits and a blouse and a vest top.0
