  • Still resisting spending ... although as I lost some weight I need a bra fitting, but I knew that before I joined the challenge, so bras are not included in my total as they are a necessity!

My favourite thing in my wardrobe are a pair of black knee high riding boots - they were very expensive when new (from Duo) but that was ten years ago, and I wear them so much between about the end of September to March - with skirts, with skinny jeans tucked in, with leggings etc. I've had them soled and heeled and they are still in perfect condition.
Enjoying the power and freedom of letting things go.

I'm a salt water sandal fan. Not cheap but so comfortable and they're fine in rain/sea too. I bought 2 pairs last July and wore one or other virtually non stop for 2 months and they will be absolutely fine this summer too. Not sure if my pumps from 2 summers ago will last a third but I can try.

Am declaring £6 for a pink soft fluffy casual/leisure wear top from sainsbobs - cant find a decent dressing gown to replace the one the dog ate into but this will do until the time I do find "the one"

Popping in to declare £8.61 spent on hosiery. I was down to just one pair of tights, not good. But it means I'm spent almost to the end of my April allowance now and I am desperate for some new jeans. Am down to two pairs, both almost worn out. Will have to see if there are any on the £1 rail in the charity shop when I'm next in town.
Spend less now, work less later.

Another spend. This time mainly on me, £15 on 3 pairs of Next Jeans in their sale for me and 3 packs of knickers from m&s which were needed! But i also bought Knickers for DD2 for when she potty trains, Vests for DS for winter and a dress for DD - This seems to be a common problem for me, I seem to want to get something for all of them all of the time!

I think ill be avoiding the shops where possible now as ive spent £60 this month  Made £3 though selling some sleepsuits and expecting a further £4 for more baby bits sold x

  • Hi All xx

Still no spends for me this year!!

But...I've got a piece of uni work to be in on Monday and after that I'm going to look at my 'summery' clothes I put away last year.

    **Scared!**

My summery wardrobe usually just looks like a bunch of old rags! Crappy vest tops etc. that I've bought for next to nothing the previous year. So will have to invest in some newies...I think. Not checked yet - maybe on Tuesday.

Fingers crossed I won't need much!

Me too! Love DUO for the fit (skinny calves here) and have 2 pairs that are about 6-7 years old and get worn alot for 6 months of the year. They are well worth the initial outlay, though managed to get the second pair in the sale. :)

Have managed 9 days so far!!! It is getting easier to delete the sales emails off my phone- saw my friend yesterday and she reminded me that the sales will come round again.
Favourite thing -weekend- new flared jeans from ff with a patterned tunic from white stuff. Favourite work outfit - blue wooly dress with thick tights and high black boots. I also love my black boots and have worn them for the most of the autumn and winter.
