Just managed to get my order through to Mr A before the 11pm cut off :D Thats lots of bottled water in for DD for school, lots of fresh fruit/salad/veg and some new store cupboard ingredients bought. :D My budget was £80 all in, and it came to £56 :j

Well the weather forecast here is rubbish tomorrow so I'm staying home (hence getting the delivery) and will clear the ironing pile while DD does her homework. I also need to clean my window display off the window :( Its definitely seen better days though, I now have neon green reindeer where the paint has separated or reacted to the sun :rotfl:

Just going to nab a couple of jobs off the official list that I have missed. :D

    Livingroom:
    :D

    Kitchen
Wash up - DDs chore now she's home. She didn't do it today so its 2 lots on Friday or no pocket money ;)
Clean window (inside only - chucking it down here)
    Wash floor mats
    Mop

    DD Bedroom :D
Nag DD to find homes for the gifts she brought home. ;)
Nag DD to get school stuff ready

    My Bedroom
    :D

    Bathroom
    Mop

    Hall/stairs/landing:D

    General:
    Shredding
Laundry: light, towels, cleaning cloths, kitchen mats
    Ironing
Update finances - need to sort out budget properly.
Pay work account (check money to pay other bills first)
Sort out Toots list for 2014
    Back up photos etc
Update Sig with 2013 figures *gulp*
Thank you text to J&R for the gift
Buy Diary - Saturdays quest while I'm in town to buy DDs bus pass ;)

Learn something in 2014 - I have a course I bought over a year ago which I want to do, every time I get so far into it something happens and I end up putting it off. I want to complete it this year.

I'll probably have to do some S&S this weekend, but other than that the house is looking good considering DD is now home and causing chaos :rotfl:

Half in as I think I will be this year. First day back at the garage for me, I've got a mountain of paperwork to find to do his tax return. Bleurgh! Anyway I've chipped away at that, found a box and started slinging it all in!

I've dragged OH yesterday to ikea and got the much needed shelves for the kitchen, bathroom and a few other bits. Those who know him won't be surprised that they're not all up but he has done some of them in the bathroom  so that's a progress. I've started to fill those, the bathroom needs a proper dig out and reorganise. It's tiny and barely fit for purpose with a poo load of stuff inside.

I've done a washer and dishwasher load, not much else as we got in late & tbh I'm shattered.

Hopefully tomorrow will be more productive!
One day I might be more organised...........

  • A quick update on my Toots list

Toots still to do for today -
[STRIKE]keep ringing my pharmacy to put my repeat in - but may have to pop in instead[/STRIKE] popped in
sort out music tuition voucher for DD3 guitar lessons - seem to be getting run around on this - will try to speak to the right person tomorrow
get car taken to my Polish friends for a jolly good clean - still needs to be done
[STRIKE]get DD4 next size swimming cozzie[/STRIKE] from Mr S and treated DD4 to one pack of 12-18mth babygros as I noticed that I didn't have any in my fle@bay bundle
[STRIKE] and armbands ready for holiday and DS some new swimming trunks for his swimming lesson, pop into swimming pool and collect his badge and certificate with some shrapnel, so it can be sewn on in time for his next lesson.[/STRIKE] all purchased at swimming pool and BONUS didn't realise they had a bottle and clothing bank, so decluttered all the glass and DD3's clothing gibble from her room on the same journey without diverting miles off track.:money::j

Went to DS's pharmacy after his nasal flu 'jab' [STRIKE]and collected his milk scrip[/STRIKE]

Bonus: discussed kidney stones and pain with Dr before smear done....infection is back another 3 days ab's given -so I might feel human again Sunday, had some bloods taken.....if not means a trip to horsepiddle on Monday and weigh up if I can "stop" b/f DD4 but keep my milk "in" for 10 days while they give me higher strength AB's :eek::eek: The longest I have managed to express for was two lots of 5 and half days with DS when I had to go away on a residential training course with work, and that was very very hard work.......and this is after I went and gave b/f pump back to Sure Start last week :wall:

LW I thought of you while I was out Bonus: Vegan supplies whisked off shelves and Bolland and Harrett as there was one right next to Specs@vers and I had never paid attention (more miles saved :money:) even better big tray of Vegan Meatballs in their 1p sale (not BOGOF, but buy one and get 1 for 1p - but next best thing to a BOGOF) Haven't had them yet, so don't know if they are any good, but if Mr LW is passing by a H&B might be worth ringing the changes without breaking the bank. Also, got some more soya chunks to make Vegan Rerrer Focher (Ambassador ....you are really spoiling us :rotfl:)

Back to Specs@vers tomorrow to collect repaired glasses as still sorting me out 20 miles away when they shut.....so need to create a Toots list for the year as see what I can accomplish out of the house tomorrow to make the journey worth it.

First things first, need to find Listy and see what I [STRIKE]have done[/STRIKE] should have done today :p

    Time for a brew first

  • Monday Bathrooms and a bit of Everything Else
    Meal plan for the week

    Extras
New year, New you, what would you like to learn to do this year (much more inspiring than the same old loosing weight and exercising) - for me it is to make sourdough rolls and learn more knitting techniques

Put away any glasses used last night

Write a New Toots List (this is a list of all the jobs you want to get done from decorate a room, hang a picture etc) - burn or bin your old one (you can have a sneaky compare if you like). Now go through and put the month in which you are going to do the tasks next to them. The pile of stuff you have been meaning to sort for ages - now is the time
Update your Christmas card list when you take your cards down, add in that illusive child's name, make a list of people to contact this month to catch up; make a note in your diary for October as to where you have put the cards you bought in the sale.

Hmmm, looks like I will get most flying done at weekend. I should really go and get some more off the list while I am wide awake.....maybe I will write up my Toots list while I am tucked up and then I can cross that off ;)

    Morning all,

Well yesterday did not go to plan at all! I thought I would be at home all day but ended up leaving the house at 1pm and not getting home until late. I did very little from my list  so I've got that to do as well as today's list. We're popping out for cake with my niece later as it's her birthday.

2 hours and 20 minutes to compile my Toots list....its a word document 5 pages long, and I am not sure it is anywhere near complete....but I am tired now.

Now it exists, I will have to crack a few off each month, then over the next 12 [STRIKE]months[/STRIKE] years, I might get them done :rotfl:

    night night

    btw ...Welcome back TMD:)

eta there was a strange noise earlier.....I thought it was a bee, went out onto landing and found the biggest wasp I have ever seen.....went straight to the wasp spray, can't have DS stepping on it, or it flying in and stinging DD4.....it wasn't very happy it seemed to have its feet stuck in my carpet (you could say it was as mad as a wasp :rotfl:)........slinks off to add "find wasp nest" to Toots list
