I need to clear out all the booze to the garage as we are having a dry January. I do it every year but DH is joining me this year. I need to remove all temptation. Well done FBO.
We're having a Dry January as well; this is going to be incredibly difficult for me unless I become a hermit for the month, as I need "Dutch Courage" if I have to deal with other people. Tuesday will be a big challenge, as we're finally going to see the Hobbit film (assuming we make it this time); and the CAMRA AGM is some time in January, too.:eek::eek::eek::eek: I managed to get out of going last year as Mary was staying, and she couldn't be left, but I don't see any such get-out this year.:(

Does anyone have any hair loss remedies, I know I popped a sprog recently but it really is thinning on the top, even OH noticed :(.
(((HUGS))) Much sympathy. Mine's falling out quite literally in handfuls, because of lupus. If you find a remedy that works, please let me know.:o

I don't seem to be getting much done - I've made a Shepherd Spy (just needs cooking) and done a WM load of Mr LW's clothes and hand-washed a top, and that's about it, because Ronnie is being particularly clingy and demanding today. Bless him, he keeps bringing his "Dougal" (a sort of square of material with a doggy-sort of head with a squeaker sewn in the middle; it's a terrier toy, meant for shaking about, the way JRs do) and wanting me to play.:D

    Howdy!

We've been out most of the day, so not done a lot (washed some towels) but then not made a lot of mess either. I've switched off the outside lights, and I'm about to recover 2 DR chairs in leftover heatproof table cover :o then the tree is coming down.

Went to a friends then the playgym where DS wants his party. Said friends DS is 6 days younger, so we've decided on a joint party :T so that is all booked, hurrah. They do everything but the invites and cake!

So, will go get tree box, when DD has finished "doing" my hair with her magic wand :rotfl:

Having an off list day today. Went to town this morning to return a couple of items and spent this afternoon sorting things out in a spare bedroom (sort of on the list). Everything is topsy turvy in there. It was my craft room but it now doubles up as a bedroom for number 2 grandson when my son and DIL come to stay. I can't get to some of the cupboards without pulling the bed out so I need to have a major rethink.
I promised myself I'd do this in January so no time like the present!

2014 roadkill so far, £1.08. Things look good!

Apparently, I have my dates wrong. OH is due back at about 6.20pm tonight. Totally but**rs up my plans.

Shopping for dinner done and advance cooking started, washing whipped in and out, whipped in and out, whipped in and out, stuff decluttered to the CS, stuff decluttered to the-dump-to-the-dump-to-the-dump-dump-dump, froggie hand-washing completed, all floors suitable for washing have been washed, one bed made, one bed stripped and about to be made.
    Better is good enough.

I've been lurking for a week or two and really want to get a routine going. Hubby & son back to work and school next week so it should be easier to do when they're not here. Today we took all the Xmas decs down, laundry up to date but I do have a pile of ironing that's seems to grow over night! Think I'm going to enjoy being in here.

    Good evening xx
I have done a few bits though not sure they are on the list..........I have alsoput awa y all Christmas and Birthday stuff.........

Monday Bathrooms and a bit of Everything Else
    30 minutes to spare....
    Clean the bath and/or shower
    30 minutes to spare....
Use up/decant any dribbles from shampoo etc, bin the empties to make space for Christmas smellies.
Declutter floors not just into a box or binbag to hide away, try to put things where they belong, a home for everything will make life easier

    Extras

Write a New Toots List (this is a list of all the jobs you want to get done from decorate a room, hang a picture etc) - burn or bin your old one (you can have a sneaky compare if you like). Now go through and put the month in which you are going to do the tasks next to them. We tend to over estimate how much we will achieve in the short term and under estimate what we can achieve in the longer term.

Thursday - children's rooms, spare rooms or any bedroom

    Only got 15 minutes...

    Hoover
    30 minutes to spare....
    Tidy the bookshelves or floorobe
    Got an hour....

    Welcome Karen

I've dusted and hoovered the Hallway and put all the pictures back plus sorted one small box of stuff from DH office. Struggling with lack of energy today, think it is due to going lower carb. Dinner almost done so maybe I'll do another 5 minutes after that.

I'm still enjoying my decorations for a few more days.
