Mothernerd sorry to hear about the highlight of your week.
Hope this week you do start to really improve.
I am sure everyone is just so busy completing their lists :rotfl:Thats why they are not posting.Or lets hope so as this thread is helping me no end.
My list was almost complete last week just one thing not done but did loads of other stuff instead so was very happy with that.
So I will be posting a bit later when I decide what I want to achieve this week

Yes, trying to form a list but finding it difficult; maybe a bit drained by continual efforts separate to "moneysaving?". The thread has also helped me and am interested in all your comments.0

So W/C 17th Mar
Meal plan - DONE
Sort out baba's clothes - started today, this is quite difficult as he's just turned 10 months but is still in some 6-9 clothes but not all. So makes it difficult to know which ones to remove. - continue with this
Declutter my wardrobe, however this won't leave me much to wear...- one wardrobe done, it now houses my going out and work clothes. continue with this
Sit up programme (10/20 every other day)
Add more photos to hard drive
Order photos for the numerous frames I have sitting around the house
Prepare some veg and meals to be frozen (for baba) - DONE
There is more but my brain isn't working tonight and can't think clearly. Will add to list either later this week or add to next weeks list if anything comes back to me.
Not a particularly successful week last week, as you can see by my list, probably my worst week so far, that said I haven't been lazing around just doing general housework which isn't on the list.
So W/C 24th March
Meal plan
Paint woodwork in bathroom
Paint bathroom
Clear out conservatory
Tidy utility area
Hoover upstairs
Post friends bday card
Buy present for friends 6 yr old
Book blood test for baba
Sit up programme (ha ha, this may happen eventually)SPC 18 Target £200 /0 -
Just done so well on this challenge I've run out of things to do :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:;). Not quite but have got busier so been thinking about how to set goals I can achieve, as there's no point setting ones I can't. That's no fun.
So this week just one goal on top of keeping work/family/house running.
Paint bedroom walls. It is 10.55 and I haven't started on it, on my only day off! Vamoose, bazinga, I am up them stairs with my tin o paint0 -
And at lunch break I can report easy two walls done:j:j:j
Bring it on.
I half decorated my bedroom five years ago, and then it became a too big, invpconvenient, boring job to finish. This challenge has helped me break it down and get some movement on it. And it needs re flipping painting by now.
Five long years , and by end of today all I have to do is wash curtains, and open the door to the carpet fitters:j:j:j:j
Hallelujah chorus please:D
Take care mother nerd, have a pamper session in bed if your well enough0 -
Hi, seemed to be getting somewhere doing this challenge but no concrete tasks were set since last Sunday. However, time to try again with some:-
1) Continue to regrow plants without soil on a window sill and read more about this.
2) Check whether dehydrators and hydroponic systems can be homemade.
3) Listen to simplicity audio book.0 -

Hi, number 1 was referring to "regrowing store bought vegetables". From my experiments, collards do well; lettuce maybe trying to grow too? Other ideas too soon to tell. With reference to number 2, homemade versions for me would probably be a "makeshift" solar/jar method. Finally, the living simplicity book was basic but reinforced my thoughts about pursuing what matters.
So a late start to last weeks tasks but doing the above three tasks was at least something!0 -
