  • New list for W/C 3rd Mar, have kept the items that haven't been done or are ongoing and have added new bits that need sorting.

    Meal plan
    Sort out baba's clothes
Declutter my wardrobe, however this won't leave me much to wear... :D
Sit up programme (10/20 every other day)
Add more photos to hard drive
Order photos for the numerous frames I have sitting around the house.
    Tidy and organise bookshelves
    Organise over stairs cupboard
    Keep on top of kitchen
Allocate a room per day for housework
Arrange some days to go into work before going back in May
Sort out bed in spare room as it has become a dumping ground.
Sort through my toiletries (I have far too many and want to make sure I'm using up what I have before buying more)

Looking at this list I really need to work through some of the top items as they've been there a while. :D

Hi everyone; hope everyone's fine and getting things done.

I have to admit I've been slipping back into bad habits again; I'm feeling overwhelmed and like I'll never get everything done. So, I need to make a list for this week and just get a few things done to get back on a roll.

    So

    declutter one thing a day
clear some paper (anything - it doesn't matter what) everyday
send dd info for council tax and water
the rest of the time - sort out work (again, anything - it doesn't matter what, just something, anything to make a dent in it)

I know I need to be more specific, but at the moment I can't be, I just need to do something and hope it will come clearer in time.

Sorry, that all sounds a bit depressing and desperate, but that's a bit how I feel at the moment.
    Paydays till DFD :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)

So from yesterday until the end of next Saturday :-

    1) Another container of files to tackle; try at least three hours sorting.
    2) Finish the pavement job.
    3) Do any frugal half-completed (or considered) jobs/ideas.

    1) Managed three hours but I did choose the easiest as the others are too taxing.
    2) The pavement areas are finished and look quite good.
    3) This was a change. a) Tried sprouting some (free) lentils and will be trying them today. b) Found what I think is part of a rosemary plant so am seeing if it will grow roots in order to plant.

So from yesterday until the end of next Saturday:-

    1) Sort out part of the garden opposite the back door and check for edible plants.
    2) Clear some things out of my life; whatever is manageable.

That's it for the week as like treasure013 " just need to do something".

Sorry for the late post. Not a great week -exercise class was fun but a bit gruelling (at one point I was paired with the 2 youngest/ fittest members of the class and the leader made them run round a table - I only did the 'ladder' bit - and I was still only just keeping up. Noticed the lad was starting to struggle at the end, though.)

Got the bus home and sat down before going to bed. I think if I could have made it up the stairs I would have slept but because of the little break I ended up reading and then read people's diaries on here and then couldn't get to sleep and had a messed up sleep pattern all week - on the plus side it has been great for paper clearing as I did extra basket loads (measuring by the waste paper basket for paper and recyclables, bag load for cs and bin bag for rubbish +pizza box mountain).

Decluttering achieved 161/150 (set target in mid-week).

Painted DS3's room (largest) but put off other large bedroom to this week. DS3's friend is coming this weekend not last so less pressure to get that room finished.

Budgets have been set. Freezer stock done and most of the bits have been used.

Self-care is working. bad sleep pattern is taking its toll but I am noticing and using extra moisturiser and a lavender body lotion I found whilst clearing little bedroom (on no sleep Monday).

So week commencing Sunday 2nd March

    DS3's room.
    1 Headboard
2 Wardrobes - go through, donations to cs, friends, sell. Any repairs
3 Bed drawers - reduce/tidy. Enough space for all his bedding
4 If he hasn't forcibly evicted me from the room go through misc boxes in bottom of wardrobe

    Bedroom 2
    5 Paint ceiling
    6 Poyfilla repairs
7 Blue walls (already have paint to touch up)
    (8) Ivory walls ? no paint and no-one round here stocking it (discontinued?)

9 Clean kitchen -lots of sorting been done - need to clear and clean worktops and floor

10 Bathroom. Clean facilities (lots of work done on tiles and shower) and floor (ladders and cleaning/painting rags have been stored in there all week which hardly left standing room).

    11 Self-care especially re-establishing sleep pattern

    Anything else is a bonus.
My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.

    1) Job complete although the edible plants are of the herbal type. Some may have self-seeded last year so maybe more in the future.
    2) Mainly information from files cleared and this is also identifying what is important to keep.
