  • Hi everyone

Another busy week so haven't been updating daily. This week I've done four lunches to work. Pittas and tzatziki and fruit Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday was a fail as I forgot my gym stuff and arranged lunch out with DH so he could bring me it :D He bought but as we have a joint account, its just semantics so can't claim a cost free lunch that day. Thursday I have left over Malaysian chicken satay and rice. Today it's the humble cheese and chutney sandwich and some Jaffa cakes. So I'm up to 12/15 #65

Was off all the week of 13th Jan poorly, so I need to change my number - I've now brought LTW 8/12 days.

Hope you are feeling better now :)

    Today is 13/15 for me.

I've made myself a cheese and salami sandwich, and brought a little tub of chopped up strawberries with stevia sprinkled on for a sweet snack!

Massively regretting the sandwiches because as it turns out my bread craving was short lived, and I'll be back to 100% clean eating next week, but it needs using up!

I made myself a huge batch of meatballs last night and me and my mum had them for our tea last night, and I managed to freeze another THREE portions. Still got one more tub of my slow cooked mince concoction I made last week in the freezer too, and I managed to freeze over half the mince I bought for the meatballs because there was more than enough for the meatballs. So that will be made into something in the s/c next week!

    Hi All,

love this challenge! really want to be serious about bringing lunches in this year. I know i'm super late in joining but hope you don't mind me tagging along for rest of the month.

    15/20

Cheese and coleslaw sandwich. Ive got into the habit of making sandwiches for the lunch with the odd leftover meal or cereal.

OK, today we have a salad of pots, sweetcorn, cheese, mayo and peppers. Plus a slice of apple pie (yum)

Well that's another week done just. Was a bit of a struggle today as had to get our Puppy to the vets (having the chop) which meant leaving home at 7am so lunch took a back seat.

I have managed to grab a cup a soup and a couple of stale slices of bread that I'd bought in for toast earlier in the week. May have to give into the draw of the office biscuit tin later with a nice cup of tea.

Very nearly a disaster today - mid morning something went off pop in the kitchen at work and all the electrics went - no kettles or microwaves working (not to mention the fridge!) Fortunately the coffee machine and water cooler were still working (different circuit) so we survived until just now when the nice man came and fixed the fuse. I was just thinking I'd have to go out and buy a sandwich, but now I've got a nice hot bowl of home made soup (sweet potato and mushroom) and I don't have to go out in the rain (phew!)

So record maintained and that's 16/20!
Unfortunately I've been diagnosed as having brain cancer and am currently undergoing treatment. More details as I get them...
