Another successful TLW day. Packed Hubby off with lo Chilli and I've got the same as yesterday and it was very yummy. So that's another successful day under our belt and I am convinced that with me making more effort that Hubby is spending less to. My microwave poached eggs actually went quite well, even though tbey did explode :rotfl:
I put them on high instead of medium by mistake and kept a close eye on them. It go to a semi cooked / semi congealled stage and I figured another 15 seonds. It got to 13 seconds and went 'BANG'
I expected carnage when I opened the door but it was mostly the added water that got flung around and very little egg white.
So I cleaned the microwave while the guys in there making their tea and a good old (friendly) laugh at my expense
Darned tasty though and super filling too as I had two eggs in two slices of bread
I'll definately be trying that againApril 2021 Grocery Challenge 34.29 / 2500
