Spiced lentil and onions again today so that's 11 out of 18.

Here is the recipe WantToBeSE: http://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2010/oct/09/mejadra-recipe-yotam-ottolenghi

It calls for the onions to be deep-fried but they could probably be shallow-fried and not much of the effect would be lost.

    #81 reporting 12/16 today

Forgot to report yesterday - whoops!

Today's lunch is cheese and pickle sandwich on granary with lettuce; leftover vegetarian sausage; grapes, nectarine, banana.

I've been shopping for some fruit so I've got a bit of variety now. Unfortunately the grapes were so delicious I ate quite a few last night and then DH finished them off.

Well done all the LTW-ers :money:

Well today is day 10 and was supposed to be left over chicken from last nights dinner but my hungry boys have eaten it all.

So I grabbed a tomato, cucumber and some carrots and the soft cheese spread from the fridge and will have that with some crispbreads and marmite that I have in my drawer.

Banana and apple for snacks (I am not giving in to the pile of leftover xmas stuff that everyone keeps adding to in the corner of our office)

sams- I hope you are OK and the blood test wasn't for anything serious. I hate starving ones, as soon as I know I cant eat I want to everything in sight :D

Thanks - all is well, I had part of my thyroid removed a few years ago so have a yearly test, plus my Dr always does the old diabetes, liver and kidney ones as I am overweight. Bless

Lunch today is a slightly less than exciting egg mayo sandwich, but I like them! Plus some grapes (what is it with fruit this week?!!) and the very very last of the christmas chocolate.

          1. 11/15 today!

Just eaten a cheese and pickle (as in gherkin) and a home made cheese savoury (grated cheese, carrot, and onion but with no mayo) sandwich on granary bread with chia seed.

            Who needs Gregg's?!

Now I'm going to tuck into my grapes and hopefully I stay full til I get home tonight.
