Had a huge breakfast with a friend before work so just brought in nibbles today, and very nice they are too! Even managed some fruit which is rare for me.

        #81 10/16 today!

Cheese and pickle sandwich, with lettuce on granary bread
        banana
        clementines

Bit low on the snacks, I'm hungry now. I've saved at least £50 this month so far by doing LTW. January is usually a lean month as I get my December salary two weeks early. I'm not overdrawn yet and it's payday on Friday!

Also weighed this morning and I'm now 6.5 pounds down on the scales. Thanks very much to Want for running this challenge.

      3. Hi everyone! Back to work for me today after a lovely relaxing week off :(

LTW #7 for me today :j

Hadnt gone shopping over the weekend so it was PB&J for me once again... :o

Nipped to coop on the way home though and used some vouchers from Pinecone Research to get some more bread and some sliced beef and onions so I can have something a bit more refined tomorrow! :D

        Hi All :)

Am just sitting down to dinner, will update soon! Glad to see you all :)
      5. Today I am on 9/15.

I put some beef mince and tomato and carrot and red pepper and onion in the slow cooker last night, and had it with a pouch of Uncle Ben's rice. I guess the sauce is probably very bolognaise-like, but when mixed in with the rice it was almost a risotto. It was delicious, anyway and there are another 3 portions in the freezer!

Do wish I had a bigger slow cooker, I probably could have stretched that much further. I only have a 1 litre slow cooker. Might start seperating my mince into two batches before I freeze it and putting it in freezer bags instead of just putting it in in it's packaging.

I also need to start cooking and freezing my own rice, the Uncle Ben's pouches are a bit of a rip off when you can just do it yourself.

I also wanna freeze some mash! I reckon that would be delicious with what I had today. Mmm.
