Well it was back to work today for me, should have been back yesterday but that's another story but I still had my planned lunch yesterday and today.

Lunch yesterday was a mini wrap spread with sour cream and chive dip and some cheese.

Today I have an egg salad sandwich, tomato cup a soup and a bag of lidl s&v crisps. instead of eating it out of a lunch box I have even put it on a plate and it does feel more like a proper meal.

Hi Everyone, have updated to here.

Can I please remind you all to make sure that you are clear that you have achieved a LTW day when you post? The majority of you are, so thanks :) If you don't know your number, you can just post 'ANOTHER LTW TODAY' and i'll know to add another to your tally :)
Sorry, I hope that doesn't come across as bossy, its just really helps me to keep everyones scores.

My LTW today was a bowl of tomato soup. I was so so hungry when I got home, I went straight into the kitchen and warmed up some soup before i'd even taken my coat off! Twas lovely!

sams- I hope you are OK and the blood test wasn't for anything serious. I hate starving ones, as soon as I know I cant eat I want to everything in sight :D

Shortie- That's a bargain! Wish we had those here...umm, actually best not really, I would spend a fortune!

Cathy- spiced lentils sound lovely, I would love the recipe!

Delilah- You're half way there :) Well done!

Soworried-it's just the prefect weather for soup today, cold and drizzly here in Cornwall.

    Have a lovely afternoon everyone!

We had the same soup as yesterday today. There is now none left:( Also had fruit, mu11er rice and choc buns for a snack.

Tomorrow will be ham or egg salad sandwiches I think.

  • 10/15 for me today!

Brought my slow cooker concoction from work, although I did nip out to buy some bread to go with it. I had run out so this counts toward my weekly shop.

I know bread is definitely not eating clean, but it was whole meal and made with sunflower seeds and chia seeds so super high in omega three! I am going to make some sandwiches for tomorrow and maybe the rest of this week so I can save my slow cooked meals and have a bit of variety.

I'm also going to try my hand at making meatballs either this week or next and use some of the bread for the breadcrumbs part! I want to try and recreate the Bella Italia meatballs for a fraction of the cost :D

Whoops I wasn't clear enough about mine :o

    LTW #7 please!
  • First LTW day!

Great thread. It can be so easy as a freelancer to get into the habit of popping out for lunch when I'm on site with a client.

I went with egg mayo + sweetcorn sandwiches, carrot sticks and a fruit bar. :D

Am up to 12/16 now :) it's getting easier as the month goes on surprisingly. Bagels again today with soft cheese might have to get different flavours next time.

That's day 13 completed for me today :) I have to admit to hitting the vending machine last week for some emergency chocolate though :(

Yummy leftovers packed for lunch tomorrow.
