B17C, if the headache didn't go after caffeine did it maybe trigger a migraine?

I've picked up chilli for lunch from the freezer this morning and a few biscuits too. I still have porridge in my drawer at work.

Sooooooo wanted to stay in bed today. Am tempted to book a day off when my boss get back tomorrow from holiday. He's been off for a month and not sure if Chrimbo and nY made it feel longer but it's felt bonkers. I don't want to 'waste' a day's holiday though just to catch up on sleep

    #81 reporting for Day 2/16

Large bowl of porridge for breakfast with a dab of honey

    NO takeaway coffee :money:

    Lunch will be:
Brie, cranberry and salad on granary bread
    Banana
    Pear

Made a lovely red lentil and tomato soup last night which might turn into lunch once I've finished all the brie. Waitrose essentials brie is a large chunk for well under £2. Enough for at least four sandwiches and uses up the christmas cranberry sauce for free!

    Happy lunching everyone .

Day one is done. Although, while I didn't buy lunch, I did end up buying breakfast and dinner... so that sort of undid my work
I have lunch for today, so 2/16 days are done!

I hope I can keep up with this, I'm having a lot of stress at home with my crazy housemates so it's difficult for me to get into the kitchen to cook. I've just been bringing in tinned soup so far! Still cheaper than buying lunch though. Still, I will keep trying!

    Morning all

Another day on the lunch wagon, to be fair I pretty much always bring my lunch to work anyway but it's good to join in and see what others are bringing, the chorizo and cheese muffins sound lush!

    So, today:

B: Boiled egg, porridge with almond milk, 1/2 grapefruit, 2 x brazil nuts (for the selenium!), juice

    L: Quinoa bake, salad, chicken

    D: Leftover curry

Snacks: Apple, kiwi, plum, blueberries, yoghurt, cheese

    2/15 done

    Enjoy your meals all xx

    4/22 for me today.

I have brought my breakfast (cereal) and a rice, feta and bacon salad with peas, sweetcorn and cucumber added. I made it last night and DH has snaffled the other portion for his lunch today. There is a half portion left that I will pad out a bit and that will do for me tomorrow. He can have a sandwich:rotfl:

I also have fruit x 2, muller rice and a few GF cheesy cracker things. I have for once not brought any chocolate/sweet things:eek:

I am making jacket potatoes for tea (DH request) so will pop in a couple of extras to do us for lunch on Thursday with cheese for me and tuna mayo for DH.

Had a bacon and egg sandwich was quite nice for a change but a bit greasy - but better than buying :D

    That is 3/20
  • ;)Hi

Day 2/15 #65 completed yesterday, although it was nearly a disaster. I had prepared soup to take in but as I was getting it out of the fridge in the morning realised I had a meeting 2 hours away from the office scheduled for 1pm! Hastily made a cheese and chutney sandwich instead.

So today am completing Day 3/15 #65 as I have the soup intended for yesterday with me!

Shortie - well down for making homemade falafels! I've made them from scratch once before. However, I tend to be lazy and buy the dried ready mix that you just need to add water to, as my kids love them! I think the breaking up/ oily problem may be that the mixture was either too wet and/or the oil wasn't hot enough. I tend to take a very tiny amount of the mix and put in to test the oil. Hope that helps ;)

Day 3 completed for me :) Had a wholemeal pitta bread filled with hummus, tomatoes and olives followed by a yoghurt. I've got the same again tomorrow!

    YUMMY!!

    Day 4/20 #19 for me!

Lentil soup and a wholegrain seeded bagel thing!

Brought in brekkie aswell (allbran and milk) and a apple and tangerine as snacks! Lost a tangerine though - sneeky wee thing fell out of my handbag! :rotfl:

Also living seeing what everyone has! Is giving me some ideas :T
